The hotel has different facilities that will make you stay as comfortable as possible. Our hotel is family run so offer personalized service guaranteeing you quality in our services. All our activities are designed to make you stay unforgettable and that you can enjoy with your family and friends the untamed Patagonia beautiful nature. The hotel consists of a main building and two annexes, and is built in the typical local style, combining stone and wood. There are 29 guest rooms, with excellent lake view (Mascardi lake surrounded by mountains: Bonete, Tronador and Cresta de Gallo), 3 lounges, a bar, play room, video room, covered barbecue area, pier, boating ramp, beach and extensive gardens. Our two dining rooms serve a menu which, not only consists of home made meals and patisseries, but is also made from home grown vegetables and fruits from our ecological, organic garden. We also offer satellite broadband Internet connection, phone, safety box at desk office, laundry service and transfer services.

All our rooms are nicely, cozy decorated with wood and warm colors. The rooms have big wide windows so you may enjoy panoramic views to the lake and the surrounding mountains: cerro Bonete, Cresta de Gallo and Punta Negra as well as the majestic Mont. Tronador with its glaciers. All our bedrooms have central heating, phone with IDD/NDD, private bathroom with bath tub and WC. The bathrooms are very spaced, comfortable and well lighted. We have rooms with balcony which are bigger. The balcony is nicely made in wood and has amazing panoramic view where you may comfortably sunbathe or just enjoy peacefully gazing the mountains and lake. We have also family rooms like apartment with two double bedrooms and one bathroom and an inner hall connecting both rooms. Hotel Tronador has its own organic kitchen garden growing fine fruits such as strawberries, raspberries, cherries and gooseberries; some vegetables and aromatic herbs. This are all ecologically grown products which we use at our kitchen for preparing a wide variety of dishes served in our restaurant and tea saloon.

The Hotel Tronador has a restaurant where you may taste the fine flavors of our exquisite Patagonian and central European cuisine made with organic grown vegetables and fruit and milk products from our own dairy. In the afternoons you may enjoy tea with a wide variety of home baked patisseries, pies and cakes at our tea saloon while you delight yourself with amazing mountain views. If you are vegetarian or on a special diet please mention this when booking so we can prepare you special meals according to your specific diet. In Hotel Tronador from San Carlos de Bariloche the main entertainment are the outdoor sports and activities that you can enjoy right from the Hotel. Activities like hiking, trekking with different levels of difficulty, bird watching and wildlife observation, sport fishing (fly casting, trolling and spinning) horseback riding, mountain biking and for those more adventurous we have white water rafting, mountaineering and climbing options. Nevertheless we have also entertainment activities at the hotel such as play room (with table tennis , pool and billiard table), reading room, video room, barbecue room, solarium and private beach.
