Logan County's Sterling Library opened in 1918 and remained open until the library was moved to a new building in 1976. The primary group that held fund raisers to purchase the lot for $4000 was the Zeta Zeta
Club. Other clubs helped too, like the Women's Temperance Union. According to the Union's notes, they also went to the men in the community to raise funds. The total cost of the building, lot, fixtures, and books was $20,000. Old Library Inn Bed
