If youre feeling a little adventurous, dont leave the island without visiting perhaps the most famous restaurant on Turks and Caicos Da Conch Shack (formerly Boogaloos). Its an open air structure right on the ocean. Make no mistake about it, youre not in the resort area anymore. But if youre OK with casual island dining off the beaten path, beat a path to Da Conch Shack and youll be rewarded with the best conch dishes in the Turks Caicos Islands. Its one of those laid back restaurants where you really feel like youre in the Caribbean! Wed say that Bacis has some of the best Italian food in the Caribbean, but since when does anyone go to a restaurant in the Caribbean for Italian food? Maybe now they will.
