beauty from rolling vineyards, desert landscape to soft clean beaches. There are a number of trails used for both hiking and biking in Osoyoos, each with different levels of difficulties. Walkers, hikers and cyclists can experience some of the most gorgeous landscape in Osoyoos or Oliver - just minutes away.. There is an Osoyoos Canal trail that travels along the old irrigation canal that was once used by area orchardists to water their orchards. Mount Kobau Lookout trails offer a beautiful view of the Okanagan Valley and is geared more towards those who want to really get away from the mainstream of things. For a gentle walk along the Okanagan River, there is the Kettle Valley Railway bed that travels North to Oliver. The International Bicycling and Hiking Society has developed a lovely little 20-km river ride between Oliver and Osoyoos along the scenic Okanagan River. To find this easygoing ride, just head east on any of the turnoffs from Highway 97 between McAlpine Bridge (the northern terminus of the trail) and Road 22. Cyclists will find the trail to be

ski village is east of Oliver in the Okanagan Similkameen region of British Columbia. In addition to downhill pursuits, Mount Baldy offers a variety of other activities including 20 km of marked snowshoe trails and non-groomed cross-country trails, 20 km of groomed cross country
