Maybe our local color? There's a lot to do around here, or nothing to do. Sports enthusiasts will find sea kayaking, golf, tennis, bicycling, sailing, windsurfing, charter and surf fishing, and freshwater swimming. Restaurants offer everything from bistro dining to beachside lobster shacks, all with water views. The nearby Bath/Brunswick area has a wide variety of restaurants, shops of all kinds and entertainment. Summer brings all sorts of festivals as well as Broadway musicals with Equity casts at the Maine State Music Theatre. There are also classical music concerts and good old-fashioned band concerts in the parks. Theater and music play continuously at the Theatre Project and the Chocolate Church. Three museums offer maritime lore, Civil War memorabilia and Arctic artifacts. There are historic house, garden and cemetery tours along with lighthouse cruises, railroads, whale watches, and nature and lobster cruises. Of course, antiquing and artists' studios are everywhere.

This wonderful, restored Cape farmhouse, circa 1800, is filled with the smell of flowers and country cooking. The BB is situated on a quiet peninsula rich in history, unspoiled natural beauty, expansive beaches and Down East tranquility. EdgeWater Farm offers six charming guest rooms, all with private baths. Two of these rooms are suites which can sleep up to five people in two adjoining rooms. One of these suites is on the ground floor for easy access.

Our house is a very, very, very, nice house... With two cats in the yard... Watch a snowstorm while up to your neck in 85-degree water in the 12 x 38-foot indoor pool, or steam away in the hot tub with five of your best friends. Another gathering spot is the spacious Rec Room, where guests can enjoy classic board games, play ping-pong, dance or curl up with a good book. Rise to a glorious Maine morning and go for an early walk or swim before joining others for a leisurely full breakfast featuring the Inn's own fresh fruit and vegetables as well as local eggs. Scrumptious, nutritious and delicious!
The newly expanded dining area is now a Great Room with a stone fireplace, cathedral ceiling, skylights and beautiful garden views. This is a wonderful room for a myriad of events: receptions, reunions, small conferences, dinner parties or just hanging out.
Edgewater Farm BB is located on four acres of perennial, herb, fruit tree and vegetable gardens. Sandy beaches are nearby and Edgewater Farm has an indoor pool and hot tub under the stars.
Head to nearby Popham Beach State Park to bask on four miles of expansive white sand beaches. The water temperature is actually quite comfortable from late June through August. Bring a picnic lunch and stay to enjoy tidal pools at Fox Island, or surf fish for stripers. Explore tidal river estuaries for the nesting sites of the Piping Plover and Least Tern, two endangered species protected here. Secluded Sea Wall Beach is a two-mile hike through balsam forests and tidal marshes where egret, heron and kingfishers feed. Spectacular views of the beaches and Mt. Washington (75 miles away!) are a thrill!

Lose yourself in our Woodland Labyrinth. Bill has created a Benedictine Labyrinth in a wooded grove on the property. The walk has been designed with sea rope he collected on the shore. It's a spiritual experience he has enjoyed sharing with our friends and guests.
