Sleep, awake, enjoy… In "t Groene Genoegen" (The Green Delight) enjoying and quality of life are the central goals. The beautifully renovated house (formal floristry) with private guest-entrance has four spacious rooms, each with their own bathroom. The view on the field, meadows and wood is breathtaking, the silence surprising. In the large quiet garden it is nice to stay and ideal for the children to romp. You can have breakfast in the sociable kitchen or on the southern terrace. At the breakfast table you will find mostly traditional, biological and region products, which we find perfect for quality-full enjoying. Many extra's such as a champagne breakfast, are possible. In the region of Laarne we have innumerable cosy and quality-full restaurants. You can find the simple kitchen but also the "haute cuisine" and Birgit, the hostess, will advise you with your choice. You can add an extra relaxing touch to your stay in "t Groene Genoegen" by visiting the private sauna and bubble bath. In the resting area you can relax with a glass of fruit juice or champagne which is always at hand range. At least 5 cycling / mountainbiking and 3 walking routes are passing by "t Groene Genoegen". You can do endless walking and cycling through the typical roads of the Scheldeland. Bicycles can be rented.

Four comfortable guest rooms with television, internet connection and own bath room are at your disposal. Each of the rooms has been named after a beautiful type of begonia which used to be raised here. In each room it is possible to place an extra bed or a child bed. Room Cascade: This spacious room in grey-blue color shades is based on the ground floor and has its own garden terrace. In the two quality-full box spring beds it is a dream to sleep. Room Bouton de Rose: This romantic room is based on the first floor and offers a grand view on the surrounding forest and fields. Here you find a spacious double bed. Room Marmorata: This flowerful room is also based on the first floor and the soft green colors will help you feel calm and relaxed. Room Pendula: This blue room is based on the first floor of the main building.

The basement of "t Groene Genoegen" has been arranged as sauna and relaxation area. After a tiring day you can relax and dream away. Facilities: Spacious sauna up till 6 persons (temperature can be defined); Round massage bath for 2 persons; Shower and cold water shower bucket; Relaxing area with comfortable lounge chairs; Bathropes, bath towels and slippers are available for 5 € per person; In the relaxing area you will be offered a free refreshing drink.

In the center of Oost-Vlaanderen, in the castle village Laarne, you will enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding off the river 'Schelde' during your stay at "t Groene Genoegen". In the land of the Floralien, between the roses, azalea’s and begonia’s there is always something to see. You can visit the medieval Castle of Laarne, the old Aumans mill or maybe have a degustation in the fourteenth century "Kattenheye" farm? For nature lovers and walkers the nearby nature area the "Kalkense Meersen" or "De Damvallei" are a must. Flower-watching can be done in the provincial area "Den Blakken" in Wetteren. Families with kids can go to the Family park Malter which is a childrens' paradise. The beautiful country-side of Laarne is also the ideal operating base for visiting the nearby cultural historical cities such as Ghent (10 km), Brugge (50km), Brussels (40km) or Antwerp (40km).
