Brae Lodge Guest House B&B in Edinburgh is located in a quiet suburb area called Liberton. It is only 10 minutes by bus to the centre of Edinburgh (the bus stop is only 10 metres from the house). Brae Lodge Guest House has 6 bedrooms, all fitted with double glazing. Four of these rooms are on the 1st floor. The rooms to the rear of the house have some beautiful country views. All rooms have private en-suite bathrooms with showers and are stocked with soap and towels, TV, radio/alarm clock, hairdryer, comfy chairs and a welcoming tray with Tea&Coffee and some delicious Homemade shortbread. The hosts also provide a welcome booklet with some local information to help their guests around the area and tourist guides for places in and around Edinburgh. Full Scottish breakfast is served in the dining room from 8AM til 9AM on week days and from 8.30AM till 9.30 during the weekend.

TWIN ROOM (ROOM 1): A good size room, it is situated on the first floor and faces to the rear of the house and has countryside views towards the Braid Hills and Tower Mains farm. SUPERKING DOUBLE (ROOM 2): Facing to the front of the house this is a spacious and bright room. The superkingsize bed provides a most comfortable sleeping experience. It has enough leg room for those looking for something more that a quick overnight stay. Each bed features a brushed suede-upholstered headboard and is styled in luxurious cream and rustic tones. This room features a Zip&Link system bed so that the room can also be utilised as a Twin room or with the provision of a temporary bed it can easily accommodate three persons.

TRIPLE OR FAMILY (ROOM 3): Our family room and largest of all. Situated on the first floor and with a large bay window, it is a very bright room and would suit a family of 3 or 4. The beds consist of a Superkingsize bed for the ultimate in comfort and an equally comfortable single bed. If there is a fourth members of the family don't worry we have enough room to provide another bed. And with our Zip&link beds, we can also offer an option of twin beds making four single beds. DOUBLE (ROOM 4): This is one of our two budget double en-suite bedrooms. Although we class this as budget its only because of the compact size of the room. Perfect for a short stay of perhaps one, two or three days at most. It has a comfortable metal framed bed and has all our usual facilties throughout. The room is on the 1st floor. Situated at the rear of the guest house with lovely views towards the Braid Hills and Tower Mains Farm.

DOUBLE (ROOM 5): This is one of our two budget double en-suite bedrooms. Although we class this as budget its only because of the compact size of the room. Perfect for a short stay of perhaps one, two or three days at most. It has a comfortable metal framed bed and has all our usual facilties throughout. This room is on the ground floor and at the rear of the guest house. It has lovely views towards the Braid Hills and Tower Mains Farm. TRIPLE OR FAMILY (ROOM 6): A spacious and bright room with a large bay window facing to the front of the guest house. It has a standard double and single bed, most suitable for a family of three but we can let it out as a double, supplements do apply though. This room has been classified by the Scottish Tourist Board as a disability category 3 room and has a dual purpose shower cubicle which has suitable access for residents with mobility difficulties.

Edinburgh... The Capital of Scotland a must on anyones list of places to visit. A place of History, Architecture, Castles, the Royal Mile and stunning scenery. Liberton is in a lovely greenbelt area south of the centre of Edinburgh and our accommodation is just a minute from some beautiful views towards Arthur's Seat, The Royal Observatory and The Braid Hills. For those who like country walks there is The Hermitage of Braid an area of paths and walks. Brae Lodge B&B is located on the A701 road approx. 2½ miles from the city centre. It has free private parking for our guests for up to 5 vehicles.
