After the last construction work, the Casa de Santa Ana da Beira now has 6 ample rooms for tourists. Equipped with ample beds, double or single, all rooms have a private bathroom, dress room, multichannel TV and internet wireless, providing the tourist with a comfortable and warm environment. The rooms have private entrance and direct access to the garden, which allows for beautiful strolls along the grass early in the morning, a warm up for a good and tasty breakfast that can be served in the dining rooms or in the exterior, as requested. In the Pavillion next to the stone balcony there is a room with television, video, music and Playstation games for the younger ones. In the exterior you can find the kids’ playground, the swimming pool and for sportsmen, a tennis court. The origins of the House are lost in time. The existing documents concerning the house date from 1798 and confirmed that the house has always belonged to the family Homem de Ferreira. In successive generations, the house was extended and renewed, always preserving the architecture and the characteristic materials of the Beira Alta. In the year 2000, after an authorized process from the Tourism General Direction, they started the rebuilding and remodeling process, adjusting it to fit the requirements for Tourism in the Rural Space. Beyond the lodging with continental breakfast included, the Casa de Santa Ana da Beira provides extra services for visiting tourists, such as: English Breakfast, Packed light meals for picnics in the mountain range, Complete meals for groups, Barbecues, Bar, Meeting rooms for small groups, Suggested itineraries to visit the Region, Suggested itineraries for visits on foot, bycicle, car, etc.
