Hello Lisa, Jennifer (Smith and Claveau) and Krista, Now that I look back at our recent visit to Laurel Point, I must thank you all very sincerely for the wonderful experience Belimo Americas had at your hotel. I cannot think of one thing to criticize. Your excellent staff, your beautiful setting and facility and your professionalism was among the best I have experienced in the 14 years I have been arranging our most important
meetings. Everything each day was handled so well -- from the apples we were greeted with when lined up for check in--to your storing our luggage while we went to Butchart
Gardens, I never had to worry if something would be right and so could concentrate on the details of our events.
Meeting rooms were always ready with the AV we needed and all else, your food displays were beautiful and so tastefully presented and the cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of all staff set you a step above most 4 and 5 star resorts I have been to with groups. The closeness of your
meeting space to the dining areas, front
desk and your sales
office make your facility perfect for
meetings of up to 150 people and the fact that Laurel Point Inn is set apart yet very close to exciting downtown Victoria with the many opportunities for activities within walking distance makes your Inn ideal for
meeting groups. Thank you all for all you did to make our
meeting a complete success. Kind regards, Joan Ballen
Assistant to the President Belimo Aircontrols (USA), Inc. On behalf of Thrifty Foods, I would like to take a few minutes to tell you how much I appreciate the outstanding service we received from the staff at your hotel. There are not many facilities that have such a strong team who cater to professionalism, commitment to detail and the endless hours to make a job well done. The staff was always wearing a smile and their patience and energy was never-ending. - S. Arden, Director of Independent Services, Thrifty Foods. Unbelievable! That is the best word I can find to describe how well your staff worked to produce and extraordinary event for my daughter and her husband. At every encounter, we were treated professionally and more importantly, the
conference coordinators came up with great ideas and saw things through. I am rarely compelled to write notes of appreciation. This has been an absolute pleasure. Thank you for creating an event of such magnitude, which contributed to my daughter's
wedding day in such a way that she could only say;it was better than I could have imagined. - A mother-of-the-bride. The Inn At Laurel Point has done it again! The
conference services team, management and staff of the hotel have helped us accomplish something we could not have done without the cooperation and assistance of you all, and we deeply appreciate it. We have just concluded our most successful reunion. Your service people excelled in their willingness and ability to help make things run smoothly. They made my job easier! It is obvious that you all know your jobs and are good at them. - I. Bradley, Chairman, 405 Squadron Pathfinder. The efforts of The Inn At Laurel Point staff to provide the highest standard of service and personal attention were indeed successful. I cannot think of one need that was not satisfied. - B. Lemieux, Executive Director, Deep Draft Lubricants Association. I would like to compliment you personally and the entire staff at The Inn At Laurel Point for providing a truly spectacular long weekend for our members. My sincere thanks go to the
conference services team, the catering staff, front
desk crew and the most helpful bell-service staff. It has been my pleasure to work with all of you. - D. Cond, President, R D Cruises and
Tours. The Victoria
Office of the Arthritis Society would like to thank The Inn At Laurel Point staff for doing such a wonderful job with facilitating our back-to-back events. Given the large number of people that attended both sessions, things went extremely smoothly; in fact, several comments were received on the excellent organization. We look forward to holding similar events at Laurel Point Inn in the future and working with such an efficient, professional team. - S. Burkmar, Manager Community Relations, The Arthritis Society. Hi there, I stayed at the LPI from February 5-9 while attending the CLC
conference. I had previously stayed at the LPI about 9 years earlier, and looked forward to the chance to stay again. I must tell you, that as someone who travels consistently for work, my stay at the LPI was exceptional. The value for what I received was outstanding. Your front
desk staff was most helpful and warm. I found the environment very welcoming and homey. It is nice to be in a hotel where a guest can access a
computer or
internet without additional cost to the guest. Not being subject to all of the now standard add-on fees makes a person feel welcome and at home. How refreshing. The
room (225) was spacious and comfortable. The boutique feel of
duvets, heated towel racks, Aveda products and nice teas/
coffee made it that much more comfortable. In-
room recycling, very impressive! My only suggestions would be to have more than one
phone, or a cordless
phone in the
room so that someone trying to multitask on a
business trip has more flexibility. I applaud your hotel for creating a truly enjoyable accommodation experience. Many thanks, Cath, Trent-ESL Coordinatory. Deborah and Lisa: On behalf of Maureen Bennie and myself thank you so much for all your excellent assistance with our recent event. We do believe this was the best presentation we have had in 4 years - and this is certainly because of your facility and staff. I hope to work with both of you in the very near future. Sincerely. Victoria Harris, Director Autism Awareness
Centre Inc. Edmonton, AB
