C A Tourist Apartments have an extremely spacious 3 bedroom apartment sleeping up to a maximum of 6. This apartment is on an upper level (just one floor) and is accessed by means of a lift, with a stairway for the more able bodied visitor. The doorway to the lift measures 80cms with a length of 114cms. (please check your wheelchair dimensions. You may find that some visitors find it better to remove the leg rests to gain better entry into the lift.). The large bedrooms all have separate air conditioning units, (prices payable locally). The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a roll-in shower and grab rails throughout with drop down bars on each side of the toilet. It has been very carefully thought out, with the main emphasis being on accessibility for the disabled guests. Adjacent to the main bedroom there is a smaller guest bathroom. This also has a roll-in shower with grab rails etc in situ. The main bedroom has patio doors leading to a covered balcony and the other two bedrooms have a balcony overlooking the pool. The other two bedrooms are of a large size. The apartment also has a third toilet/washbasin, but this is only a small room and not wheelchair accessible. In total the apartment has 3 toilets. The kitchen is a fully functional one with modern cupboards and units as well as all the main appliances, making life all that bit easier for our guests. It is complete with a dishwasher, electric cooker and hob with extractor, microwave, fridge and washing machine, toaster, etc. Once again, space is of importance and here there is room to manoeuvre. The kitchen has a door leading to the balcony that over looks the pool area, as well as the fragrant orange and lemon trees. The lounge is spacious throughout, lots of room for a wheelchair user to get around with no obstacles in your way. It is furnished throughout with excellent inside and outside dining area and seating.There is a television and DVD player. Down at the pool side breakfast is available should any of our visitors want to experience the Cypriot hospitality. Breakfast around the pool, what bliss!! One of our favourite days was one spent with the 'TOUR GUIDE' Andreaswhat an absolute star that man is. He leaves no corner of the island untouched,. He took me and my hubby Pete to places off the beaten track that we could never have found. Nothing is too much trouble. We love him to bits. The swimming pool, as enticing as ever, so clean and crystal clear, great care taken to ensure all around the complex is scrupulously clean and very well maintained. Our first stay with C A and we were confident it would be a vast improvement on standard holiday accommodation but it was even better than we hoped, the ramps and bedroom and bathroom access that are normally such a chore presented no problems at all. In fact we did not manually have to lift Stephen at any time over the whole holiday, as well as taking the strain off Linda and myself it meant life was much more comfortable for Stephen.
