Vacation Packages NC. Join us for a Hoppin' Good Time on April 7th for the FVRA Easter Egg Hunt! The Easter Bunny hops in to town early in downtown Fuquay-Varina on Saturday, April 7 at 9:30 am bringing over 7000 candy and toy filled eggs! Last year, over 500 parents and children gathered in downtown at the Fuquay Mineral Spring Inn and Fuquay Mineral Spring Park to enjoy a morning of family fun filled with hunting for Easter eggs and enjoying photo-ops with the Easter Bunny. This year, the event will take place in the same two locations. Children age 5 and under will hunt for eggs at the beautiful, historic Fuquay Mineral Springs Inn
Garden. The fence makes this area perfect for little ones to have fun and remain
safe! Children older than age 5 will enjoy hunting for eggs at the Fuquay Mineral Springs Park. If you are a parent with children in both age groups, feel free to hunt for eggs where you feel it is most appropriate for your children. Parents are strongly encouraged to let their young children hunt for eggs on their own as this makes the adventure more fun for the little ones and fair to all the children involved in the event. Children up to 10 years old are welcome. The Fuquay Mineral Spring Inn
Garden is located at 333 South Main Street (Hwy. 401) just south of historic downtown Fuquay-Varina. The Fuquay Mineral Park is located directly across from the Inn.
Parking is available in the large
parking lot across from Cooley;s and on side streets. Over 7000 Easter Eggs will be hidden, so make sure to bring your baskets! Approximately 50 eggs will contain special prizes provided by the downtown merchants on historic Broad and Main Streets. Bring a camera to capture a photo of your little ones with the Easter Bunny! No need to don special costumes or worry about memorizing character descriptions, we do most of the;work; for you. However, your assistance will be needed throughout the weekend should any murders occur that our detectives have difficulty solving. If you enjoy playing detective, having fun and enjoying good food, you will love our Murder Mystery weekend. It all begins on Friday night with a social that includes light hors d'oeuvres, wine, and draft beer in the
garden. Unfortunately some;uninvited guests; may join in the festivities. We try to keep the evening under control yet, in the past, murders, hysterical antics and arguments have occurred; not necessarily in that order. We ask that you are continually on guard and make note of any shady characters or unusual activities. Friday night
dinner will be on your own at one of several good
restaurants within walking distance. Your Saturday morning will begin with a fanciful
breakfast enjoyed in the Inn or
Gardens. Maps of the area will be provided. Should there be a murder, we do ask that you be on the look out for clues throughout the community. Fuquay is a small town with many quaint
shops and in the past local storekeepers have had information that has assisted with necessary convictions. Enjoy browsing through the bookstore or one of several antique
shops. Enjoy a cup of java, a
spa treatment or try on a new outfit. Do be careful; you never know who may be lurking. We will all gather again for a
dinner party at the Inn. However, we will meet an hour earlier should our detective need assistance. During
dinner you may work alone or with a team to develop questions for suspects. You will have time to question and determine who you find guilty before dessert; after which the guilty
party will be put away. If you wish to add a
Massage to your stay, the cost will be $95.00 to 125.00 plus tax per person, the booking of your accommodations will be separate.
Massage services should be booked in advance. These events are a huge success and space is limited. Please make your reservations as soon as possible. Anytime the
Garden is in Bloom the Flowers are Free! Is your stay celebrating a special occasion, like an anniversary, birthday, or honeymoon? Ask for a Romance Package!. It's a custom package, and you have to make decisions. Do you want a single rosebud in a little vase? A half-dozen roses ? A dozen? What color? Red roses symbolize love, but some women adore yellow ones! Or, a pretty mixed bouquet can be had. The package can include a bottle of wine or champagne, or sparkling grape juice. And, we can set up a small table in your
