My philosophy of good
health and well being is based on an integrated approach which focuses on prevention and healing, rather than just disease and treatment. Each one of us is unique and has a responsibility for maintaining good
health which i can help you achieve through my 4 principles of; nutrition, exercise, relaxation and
massage. The power to live a long and
healthy life is within all of us. Offerta Speciale La settimana del Dr Ali dal 7 al 14 Novembre 2008. About Dr Ali The knowledge and experience that I have gathered over the past 27 years or so in the field of medicine, gives me an edge over my contemporaries in the field. I grew up in India and heavily influenced by my maternal grandfather who was a doctor and a homeopath. At 12 years I had decided I would be a doctor and pursued my goal thereafter. My mother and my young brothers and sisters faced financial problems but I blocked myself from thinking about them and studied hard. As in the past I was the top in my year and every year at the university. After graduation, I wanted to specialize in acupuncture but the Soviet government would not allow me in, as a foreigner, to their classified institutions. Using influence and playing the Indo-Soviet special relationship card, got admission. My post-graduation studies opened my eyes. I could see the richness of traditional medical knowledge. I was an instant convert and pursued my studies under leading professors in the field in Soviet Union. I learnt iridology, fasting therapy, acupuncture, anaesthesia, tongue diagnosis, hypnotherapy in addition to my post-graduation in acupuncture. In 1982, I returned to Delhi and began to train under eminent practitioners of
ayurveda, unani, yoga, naturopathy. It was very odd for a doctor to train under traditional medical practitioners. I set my
centre for integrated medicine in Delhi, perhaps the first of its kind in the world. Fame followed success and soon people were coming to my
centre for help with a variety of ailments in large numbers. Politicians, celebrities and industrialists used to come to my clinic all the time. In 1991 I moved to London and set up a department of integrated medicine at the Hale clinic. The quality of work was soon noticed and in 5 weeks, I had a full diary. I met Prince Charles by coincidence at a reception. He sent his ailing valet to see me for a condition that no body else could cure within a few days, he was on his feet. I thus become a doctor attending to him and his friends. Over the years I was introduces to members of several royal families of the Middle East, amongst them Oman, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Qatar and Jordan. Besides them I occasionally attend two Indian presidents when in
office and Prime Minister Vajpaee when he just quit his post. My methods include diet,
massage, yoga, relaxation and use simple remedies. In my various books, I give self help methods which are very effective. My diagnosis is based on keep observation, a bit of intuition and some detective work. In most cases they are accurate. Then I back it up with my
conventional medical knowledge and come out with a good treatment plan. It is my observation power and the belief that the body basically knows how to heal itself, that has led to the discovery of man secrets in medicine. The object of labour of a doctor is man and so if you know how his mind and body functions, you know many secrets I have developed my own techniques and skills over the years. These are my secrets. Thalassotherapy Treatments.
SPA THALASSOTERAPY The essential element of thalassotherapy is sea water. Its salinity is very rich in minerals and the abundance of trace elements also makes it a primary source of purification for the human organism. In order to obtain the maximum of these benefits, international thalassotherapeutic experts-particularly in Thalgo-have performed research to extract the greatest benefits from sea water, while keeping in mind its nature and potentiality. The water used in our
center is drawn from a deep underground stratum, which sits at about 400 meters below the sea level. This water is also completely purified by means of filters and afterwards heated in our
center's circuit by means of the most up-to-date equipment. Another extremely beneficial sea material is seaweed. This seaweed has vast concentrations of minerals and vitamins, indispensable for the improvement of our biological functions. This seaweed is crushed and micropolverized and then added to sea water in hydro
massage and compresses. Sea water and seaweed are an exceptional
cocktail producing a equilibrating, tonic invigorating and detoxifying effect.
