Rooms Suites: FAQ's. How many bedrooms do you have? We have 21 individually decorated bedrooms, a mixture of suites, four posters and doubles. Everyone has their favourite. Are any of the bedrooms on the ground floor? Yes, we have ground floor rooms in St Margaret's in the courtyard. Lovely view of the water fountain. Do you cater for the disabled? Yes, we offer access for the disabled to toilets, restaurant Anise, ground floor bedrooms and lifts into the castle. When is check-in? You will be able to check into your room from 3pm. When is check-out? We ask for rooms to be vacated by 11.00am. Do you allow pets in the bedrooms? Unfortunately, furry friends are not allowed in the bedrooms. Do you have non-smoking bedrooms? All 21 bedrooms are non-smoking. Do you offer Room Service? We are pleased to offer room service between 7.00am and 9.30pm. Is there a taxi service? We do not run our own taxi service however, they are available in the area. Details can be obtained frrom reception.. Do you have Bars Lounges? In Restaurant Anise we gladly serve you with drinks throughout the day and evening. Drinks can also be served in our Library Bar. All the Castle's public rooms can be used for conferences and functions. Do you have satellite TV? Yes, we have a small variety of channels. Do you have internet access? Yes, we have full WiFi Broadband throughout the Castle. Do you have leisure facilities such as a swimming pool? We do not have on-site leisure facilities, though we do have 77 acres of woodland for leisurely walking, jogging or rambling (boots provided) and Clay Pigeon shooting by prior arrangement. What is the dress code in the restaurant? We do not require formal evening dress (unless you fancy it). Something casual but smart is perfect. We like people to feel relaxed and comfortable. Do you have family rooms? We have nine suites in which the sofas can become double beds, as if by magic! Is baby-sitting available? Yes, we have an on-site child minder, MIranda. Restaurant Anise: Introduction. This Mediterranean inspired restaurant is located just off our lovely gardens. With windows over looking the lawns it is very inviting and provides a perfect place to enjoy Hazlewood's food and drink at any time of day. Breakfast is served in restaurant Anise from 7.00-9.30am on Weekdays and 7.30-10am on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. Breakfast: 7.00-9.30am Monday to Friday. Breakfast: 7.30-10.00am Weekends Bank Holidays. Lunch: 12noon - 4.00pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday Lunch: 12noon - 3.00pm. Dinner: 6.00pm - 9.30pm Everyday menu from 10am until 6pm when you might want to call in to linger over a coffee and have a small snack. available from 12.00noon until 4.00pm weekdays and from 12.00noon until 3.00pm on Sundays, offers a selection of dishes which are individually priced for ultimate freedom of choice with offerings ranging from Moules Frites and Tagine with Couscous, and still including the ever-popular Hazlewood Battered Cod with Chunky Chips. In the evenings from 6pm until 9.30pm our offers an a la carte dinner menu which changes on a regular basis with 'daily specials'. We have a beautiful patio area immediately outside Anise where you are welcome to sit and enjoy our gardens - even if it's a bit chilly it's a lovely place to take time out. Our kitchen is led by our French chef, who was born and raised in Angers in the Loire Valley, she brings with her a wealth of experience and she is very happy to be cooking a number of dishes from her native country. Rooms Suites: Rooms. All the rooms at Hazlewood Castle are special and individual by design and are named after flowers. They all have WiFi internet access, satellite television, duvets, trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities, telephones, modem links for e-mail and internet access, writing desks, natural daylight, ensuite bathrooms with bath, shower and Molton Brown toiletries and hairdryer. The Hazlewood experience is unique and we recommend you take advantage of the opportunity to stay in such a wonderful castle with so many fabulous bedrooms. We have Tansy, an Oak beamed room, but mind your head! Dandelion has bumble bee patterned bedspreads and wallpaper, and in Lavender, you can watch the sunset whilst lying in bed and looking out of the window. The Hibiscus room is extremely different! Some say it resembles a boudoir, but guests return again and again. Some are said to be haunted, but that all depends on whether you believe in ghosts... well, do you?

PRIVATE DINING MENUS. The 'Wine Shop' : Introduction. Our 'Wine Shop' is a Delicatessen, a Wine Shop and a signature private dining room all under the name of The Wine Shop. Sample menus are available to whet your appetite for 2008 Private Dining Menus. This Signature Private Dining Room is available for private hire and seat between 8 and 16 guests. Run under the direvtion og our Head Chef, Valerie, the dishes are similar in style to Restaurant Anise but arranged to create an overall dining experience with wines carefully selected to compliment each course. The Wine Shop for private dining is perfect for all celebrations amongst close family and friends, as well as private company dinners or corporate hospitality. It even has a private drinks reception area in the Wine Shop which naturally flows into the private dining room. There are four menus to choose form starting from 50.00 per person. The Wine Shop (as a shop) is open from 10am - 6pm 7 days a week. For private groups and tours, the Wine Shop can be opened outside of these hours upon request.

We do have extremely easy wheelchair access. Wheelchair users should be dropped off at the taxi point at the front of the Castle.. How much will dinner cost? Dinner menu is 21.00 - 2 courses 25.00 - 3 courses 6pm - 9pm The lunch menus is individually priced - 12 noon - 2pm. Do you cater for vegetarians? Yes, though we do not claim to be specialists in this field. We are planning a special occasion, can you offer anything extra to make a difference? We can supply a birthday or celebration cake by prior arrangement.. Is service included in the bill? We do not impose a set charge for service, gratuities are at your discretion. How many wines do you serve by the glass? Quite a number, with our blackboard specials. How often do you change the restaurant menu? The menu changes according to seasons, local produce and availability. What is the most people we can have on a single table? There can be up to twelve people seated together on one table. How many does the restaurant seat? We can comfortably cater for fifty three people. Can we hire the restaurant for a private function? No. Can we retire into another room in the Castle to take our coffee? No
