cuisine. Best known for country dining in historic inns, some dating back to the 18th century, the area also offers a wide variety of ethnic and contemporary fare. All of the following
restaurants are within a 5-minute drive of The Woolverton: Rosemont, NJ 609-397-4097 Wonderfully warm and casual atmosphere in a converted old general store, with a surprisingly sophisticated menu. Pasta, chicken, pork tenderloin and fish selections. With gourmet items on the shelves, a tempting showcase of desserts and local artists' work for sale on the walls, the charm of the Caf is hard to beat. A local favorite. Special rotating International Menu every Wednesday. Thursday is pasta night. BYOW. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Entres $16-22. Stockton, NJ 609-397-1250 This charming and elegant country inn has a contemporary American menu, and a penchant for being a favorite hang-out among the locals. A gourmet menu and extensive wine list are available in well-appointed, colonial-themed
dining rooms, and the homey tavern comes highly recommended for light fare and a pint. Entres $19-27. Lambertville, NJ 609-397-4343 A perennial winner of the best dining in Bucks County award in Philadelphia Magazine (even though it's located just across the river from official Bucks County). Upbeat, cosmopolitan atmosphere along the canal in Lambertville. Clear, natural flavors are the key to Hamilton's savory Mediterranean-influenced
cuisine. Eclectic menu featuring seafood, lamb and steaks fired on an open
grill.
Grilled jumbo shrimp served in an anchovy butter is pure delight! Daily specials are imaginative and dependable. Outdoor dining in season in their European style
courtyard. BYOW. Entres $19-26. The Inn at Phillips Mill. North of New Hope, PA 215-862-9919 Country Inn dining in a charming mid-18th century house with romantic old-world charm. Excellent French
bistro cooking. The menu features rosemary spiced lamb chops, duck, beef and a fish or two. Four blazing fireplaces set the mood in the winter and a delightful
courtyard available for outdoor dining in summer. Open daily, but closed seasonally. Cash or check only. BYOW. Entres $17-25. New Hope, PA 215-862-5711 Romantic riverside
terrace dining in downtown New Hope. Wonderful fireside dining in the cooler months. Inspired regional American
cuisine, with menus changing seasonally. Happy hour specials, delightful staff and meet Fred, the resident Bermese mountain dog.

Dinner Entres $23 - $33. Manon, Lambertville, NJ 609-397-2596 This tiny storefront
bistro serves well-crafted French Provencal cooking in a lively and colorful atmosphere. A giant-scale reproduction of Van Gogh's Starry Night graces the
dining room ceiling. Small but splendid menu, excellent service and staff. BYOW. Cash or check only. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Entres from $18-25. New Hope, PA 215-862-7044 A unique, dramatic and exciting addition to the Delaware Valley Dining scene. This large, full-service
restaurant is housed in a beautifully restored church. The
cuisine is American with an emphasis on top quality steaks and a bit of a Creole Touch. We've enjoyed outstanding, warm attentive service at every visit. Highlights included the soup sampler, Seared Ahi Tuna starter and T-Bone Pork Chop topped with a Jack DanielsTM infused apple-raisin concassee. Valet
parking available. Entres from $18-36, including a salad. Sides are ala carte from $5-8. Lambertville, NJ 609-397-6380 The focus of Lambertville's new
bistro No. 9 is creating eclectic American dishes using the freshest seasonal ingredients. The dcor and ambiance is straight-forward and simple but the food is spectacular. The huge Porterhouse Pork chop is perfectly prepared and a sight to behold. Splendid Salads! BYOW. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Entres are a very good value at $15-20. Sergeantsville, NJ 609-397-3700 Extensive menu featuring well-prepared fresh fish, beef, chicken as well as
game, all artfully presented. Known for their Tomato Bisque and tender African Pheasant. Also, a number of vegetarian and vegan options. Romantic fireside dining in 1700's stone building. Excellent wine list (recipient of Wine Spectator Award of Excellence) and martini and champagne
cocktail menu. The more casual tavern serves the best hamburgers and
pub food around. Closed Mondays. Entres from $16-24 including salad or soup course--excellent value. Fine dining with warm, friendly service. Tavern Entres from $6-14. Take-out available. The following

Cuisine with Asian influences in a historic village Inn. Dressy, more formal atmosphere with consistently acclaimed food. Sesame Seed crusted Tuna or Salmon is a signature dish. Full

bistro features a hardwood charcoal
grill, hardwood-fired oven, bustling open
kitchen and some of the best-prepared food in Bucks County. The menu changes seasonally with selections from a whole
grilled fish to braised short ribs. Host Theresa BrownGold makes a killer apple pie. Be sure to finish off
dinner with a cup of their very special
coffee - the best

Menu also features other traditional American fare such as pork chops and chicken. Lambertville's River Horse Brewery has a brewery on premise--great brew-
pub selection. Contemporary dcor with nice views over Buck's County rolling farmland. Also, our favorite
lunch spot for the Peddler's Village area. Closed Mondays. Entres range from $19-28. Favorite places for a

The perfect place to pick up picnic or snack for a walk along the Delaware. Excellent gourmet sandwiches and salads. Open daily. Lily's on the Canal, Lambertville, NJ 609-397-6242 The area's best new
lunch spot! Wonderful gourmet sandwiches, salads, pasta and other goodies. Fun, upbeat atmosphere with an open, central
kitchen and a two-story interior waterfall. Featuring wines by the glass from local Alba Vineyards in NJ.

Dinner $10-20. Lambertville, NJ 609-397-1960 A romantic hideaway with a very European atmosphere, featuring a sunken landing overlooking a
courtyard with fountain. The Swan is a watering hole where bartending is still an art. Excellent
bar menu featuring such delights as crispy duck with macaroni and cheese and inventive sandwiches. Closed Monday.
Bar menu $6-12. The Boat House, Lambertville, NJ 609-397-2244 Tucked away in a leafy cul-de-sac with Hamilton's
Grill you'll find the vine-covered Boat House. Full of character, the tavern is filled with all things nautical, a fireplace and big overstuffed chairs. Open daily. No food service. Lambertville, NJ 609-397-2226 Located on our favorite strolling street in the area--North Union Street. A neighborhood tavern and
restaurant featuring war-horse Italian pasta dishes like carbonara, marinara and lasagna. Hamburgers, salads and light
dinners keep locals returning. Entres range from $7-17--one of the area's more reasonable spots. Open daily for

We couldn't do it at home, in front of our own fireplace. We couldn't do it in the car, on a long road
trip. Then we spent a night at Woolverton Inn. We looked out at the
quiet fields of underdeveloped pastures from our high bed where the next morning we had our gourmet omelets. And there, with a fire blazing, amidst the tranquility of the Woolverton a popular
wedding night destination, for good reason we finally found the words to put in our vows. The Best of Bucks County Inns Philadelphia Magazine or those seeking an outstanding location for a traditional, country
wedding for up to 150 guests, Woolverton Inn is ideal. We specialize in offering elegance and style not readily found today that allows family and friends to gather in a relaxed atmosphere for your
wedding weekend. Together with our chef Max Hansen, of Max Me, we will help you plan a reception that will delight you and your guests. Max has a reputation for superior
cuisine, as you will discover for yourself once you taste his food. Once you have reviewed the
wedding information listed below, let us show you how we can help make your
wedding a special and memorable one and why caring service, fine dining and top quality are the attributes most often expressed by those whom we have served in the past. Lodging We have thirteen
rooms which can accommodate up to 26 people. All of our
rooms have featherbeds, private
baths, most have fireplaces, and/or
whirlpool tubs and king size beds. The cost to reserve the inn is $4,300 per night (plus NJ sales and lodging taxes) -- all thirteen
rooms must be reserved for two nights for a weekend
wedding, or one night for a Sunday
wedding reception. We serve a full country
breakfast to your guests at the inn each morning.
Dinner Service at The Woolverton Includes: A California
Baby Mesclun or other Salad of your choice. Any entree of your choice (two if
buffet). Vegetable of your choice. Starch (potatoes, rice or pasta). Fresh baked bread (we serve a wonderful assortment). Beverages: Water, soda, iced
tea,
coffee (regular and decaffeinated), hot
tea.
Bar set-ups (fruit, fruit juices, tonics, soda, etc.). Floor length tablecloths with white wooden padded chairs. Professional, seasoned serving staff with a 15 to 1 guest to staff ratio. View testimonials from our
wedding couples... Reception Information If you wish, you may have your
wedding ceremony on the inn's grounds. We have a beautiful horseshoe
garden and arbor perfect for an outdoor
wedding ceremony. (A second tent will be needed as a precaution for inclement weather.). Your
wedding ceremony and reception will be planned as a five-hour affair. Due to a local ordinance, we are required to end the reception by 10:00 pm. Your cost per person is $145, which includes catering, specified rentals,
wedding cake, chefs and wait staff. Because we do not have a liquor license, you must supply the liquor you wish to serve your guests. We will, however, arrange for a bartender (cost - $200) and provide the
bar set-ups for your
bar. You will be responsible for your photographer, music and floral needs. Additional costs may include dance floor, additional tents, tent flooring,
air-conditioners and heaters. There is a $2800 location fee that includes exclusive use of the inn and grounds (perfect for
wedding photos),
patio and porches, as well as the rental of a carpeted, 30X75 tent with a permanent platform that includes siding. All deposits are non-refundable, unless the
wedding date you have reserved is re-booked for another
wedding reception. Our
wedding reception includes your choice of: A four course
dinner, plus six hot and/or cold hors d'oeuvres, butlered on silver trays by our professional wait staff.
