Two luxurious, four star apartments adjacent to Kew House. These are both modern terraced villas in a quiet, courtyard setting. The houses have been fully refurbished in a contemporary style and offer both privacy with peace and quiet yet are just a short walk to City Centre. Accommodation in each comprises of one double bedroom with king-size double bed, one single bedroom, a full-size bathroom, lounge and fully fitted kitchen with dining area. The Location of Kew House, near Murrayfield Rugby Stadium and Edinburgh International Conference Centre and under one mile west of Princes Street makes visiting all major tourist attractions easy. LOCATION OF KEW HOUSE: We are positioned directly on the A8 route to and from Edinburgh International Airport and City Centre, and just 10 minutes walk along Haymarket Terrace from Haymarket railway station. Our position between Roseburn and Haymarket and opposite West Coates mean that you can walk into Princes Street in 15 minutes. Buses number 12, 26 and 31 (Lothian Buses) and 86, 16, 38 (First Bus) pass our door from Princes Street. From Airport: A taxi will cost around £12.00 to Kew House. The Airport Bus (No 100) stops opposite Kew House at West Coates. The fare is £3.00 single or £5.00 open return. From the Bus or Railway Station: From Edinburgh (Waverley) Station, a taxi will cost around £6.00 or you can use any of the buses mentioned above. Ask to get off at Kew Terrace. From the North and West, you can also leave the train at Edinburgh;s Haymarket Station and walk left along Haymarket Terrace for 10 minutes or take a taxi for around £3.00. By Road: From Princes Street: Head West (with the castle on your left) towards Shandwick Place and West Maitland Street. You want to go straight ahead but will have to follow a one way system. Take the middle lane on Morrison Street and head along Haymarket Terrace with Haymarket Station on your left. We are 3 minutes drive on your left hand side. From the South and South West (A1, A7, A68. A701, A702, M8) : Join the Edinburgh City By-Pass (A720) Northbound in the direction of the Forth Road Bridge. At the large roundabout which signifies the end of the By-Pass, take the A8 City Centre signs. When you pass Edinburgh Zoo on your left, we are about 1.5 miles on your right. Parking is to the rear accessed via Balbirnie Place. From the North-West and Edinburgh Airport: (M9, A8): Follow signs for;Edinburgh Zoo; which means passing Edinburgh Airport. Then follow A8 City Centre as above. From the M90 and Forth Road Bridge: After crossing the Forth Road Bridge and driving for around 4 miles on four lane roadway, you will approach a large junction with traffic lights (Barnton Junction). Turn right on A902 (Cammo Road). Follow this route for about 1.5 miles and then turn left. You are on the A8. Look for Edinburgh Zoo and follows the route as above from there. Kew House car park is to the rear of the building and accessed via Balbirnie Place.

We may well be able to offer a reduced rate on another room (i.e. a double room for single use, a family room for double use or an apartment at a reduced rate for fewer guests). WE ASK FOR A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD NUMBER OR A DEPOSIT WITH EACH BOOKING. THIS IS REQUESTED AS A GUARANTEE AGAINST YOUR NON-ARRIVAL OR LATE CANCELLATION. IT ALSO GIVES YOU THE PEACE OF MIND IN KNOWING THAT IF YOU ARE DELAYED, YOUR ROOM WILL BE HELD FOR YOU. Check in and arrival times: Check in is between 14.00 and 22.30. We can accommodate arrivals outside this time by arrangement. We request an estimated arrival time to be supplied, if not we will assume arrival to be between 14.00 and 18.30. Unless a late arrival is requested and you have not already paid a deposit, we reserve the right to charge at least one night's accommodation if you arrive after 18.30. Check out is 11.00. Booking by telephone, in response to an e-mail enquiry or in person: When a booking is for dates more than three months in advance, or for special events and peak periods, you may be asked to pay one night's charge as a deposit. Other bookings will not require a deposit but the following will apply. All bookings must be guaranteed with a valid credit or debit card in the name of the person staying and which does not expire until after the date of departure. For security reasons, it is essential that the card security number and the house number, post/zip code of the cardholders address are given when booking. If the booking is not in the name of the cardholder, we need written authority from the cardholder giving permission for its use including the above details. If the expiry date on the card is prior to the departure date on the booking, either another card must be used or authority given to pre-charge the booking to the existing card number. If a credit or debit card is not available then a deposit, which usually equals one night's charge, will be requested within 7 days of booking. Booking via the Book Now facility on the website and all other online accommodation sites: Using the availability booking system and with most online agencies, the full amount of your stay will be deducted when you book. IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION: If you have paid a deposit of one night, or the full amount via a booking agency, and you cancel your booking outside 14 days prior to arrival, your deposit (or one night's charge) is deemed as non-refundable unless your entire booking can be re-let at no loss to Kew House and Apartments. If we can re-let the accommodation, any refund of deposit would be less a £30.00 charge to cover bank refund fees and additional administration costs. If you cancel within 14 days (or have booked within 14 days) you would be liable for the entire cost of your stay. Once again, if we can re-let your booking, we will refund up to the full cost of your stay less £30.00 administration charge. The same applies if you fail to show on the arrival date. If you have not paid a deposit and cancel within 14 days, the full charge would be processed and a refund given as above, if we can re-let your accommodation.
