The Spanish-styled manor house was built in 1928 on a
quiet country road five miles from the
center of the original town site. The land was arid desert until 1926 when irrigation transformed it into fertile farmland. Camelback Road, now the major corridor between Scottsdale and North Phoenix, was then but a two lane dirt road. Pasadena Avenue was actually an established street by then, now just an intermittently appearing
quiet residential street across a small section of central Phoenix. Today, Maricopa Manor is at the crossroads of the Valley of the Sun. Public transportation offers easy access to downtown, the
Convention Center, Sports facilities and the State Capitol. Churches, museums, theaters, and
restaurants are only minutes away. The Biltmore Fashion Park, one of the most prestigious shopping malls in the West, and Scottsdale with its
shops and galleries are easily accessible. Most major attractions in the Valley can be reached within half an hour. Our location within 15 miles of Sky Harbor
Airport is perfect for a jumping off point to other AZ destinations. Stay here on the way in and out. Ask us for suggestions for
