Cragg Farm is situated in a quiet picturesque corner of the Lake District in the unspoiled village of New Hutton. Here you can enjoy pleasant walks or panoramic views of the Lake District and Howgill Fells. This attractive 17th Century stone built farmhouse has original oak beams and many interesting features including an Oak Court Cupboard dated 1661. Cragg Farm is a traditional working comprising of the Kendalcragg herd of pedigree Holstein dairy cows, a pedigree flock of Lleyn sheep,beef cattle,hens,working dogs cats. Cragg Farmhouse offers comfortable accommodation comprising of 1 Family /1 Double /1 Single Bedrooms. The Bathroom has Toilet, Shower/Bath and Wash Basin. All rooms are tastefully decorated with central heating, tea and coffee making facilities and towels provided. In the morning, you can enjoy a hearty home made Full English Breakfast or a breakfast of your choice, to give you an excellent start to the day. Special diets can be catered for by request. There are numerous walks and cycle routes around Cragg Farm and many more in the local area. Kendal offers many attractions which include The Museum Of Lakeland Life, Arts Centre, Parish Church and many sporting facilities. You can browse at your leisure around the many quaint shops and yards. Kendal also has two shopping centres and many places to eat. Cragg Farm Self Catering Caravan is set in its own site adjacent to the farm steading and offers top quality accommodation in a rural setting taking in views of the Whinfell range and the Howgill Fells. The Caravan Site The modern Atlas Heritage 4/5 berth caravan measures 28 x 12 feet and has two access doors. It is situated on a landscaped site within easy reach of the. with good access from the quiet country lane and car parking space is provided. The caravan has its own grounds and garden area which includes seating and picnic areas.You over-look open fields where you can watch the sheep and cows grazing, birds singing or simply relax by taking in the spectacular views and fresh air. The Caravan Accommodation The Caravan consists of a double bedroom twin bedroom and a spacious lounge and dining area. The bathroom has shower, washbasin and flush toilet. The fully equipped kitchen area has a gas cooker, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, etc with all cutlery and crockery provided. Hot and cold water is on tap. The well furnished and spacious lounge has a gas fire and colour T.V. The beds are made up before your arrival with bed linen provided.
