Heath Farmhouse is a pretty Grade II listed Georgian farmhouse set in two acres of attractive gardens and with lovely views towards the South Downs. Although the house is only half a mile from the centre of Petersfield we are surrounded by peaceful farmland and all our guests remark how quiet it is. Petersfield is very well situated for a short country break, centred in an A.O.N.B. (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) that is set to be part of the new South Downs National Park. A good area for walking and cycling and, for days out, the town is also within reach of larger centres and the sea. We can offer a double, twin or family room and a full English breakfast is included, if required, with freshly laid free range eggs when our chickens are in the mood! Chalton (Jane Austen's home), Uppark and Gilbert White's Selborne are amongst the places of interest to visit in the immediately surrounding area. There is a pay and play golf course a hundred yards away and a public heath which provides pleasant walks around a large lake (where rowing boats are available for hire in the summer months).
