Location Location Location. Crested Butte is located in the heart of Colorado's Rocky Mountains. Depending on the season direct flights are available from Denver, Dallas and Houston to Gunnision. Alpine Express Shuttle vans run from Gunnision to Crested Butte. Shuttle runs take about 45 minutes. Driving directions: From Gunnison take Hwy 135 north to Crested Butte. Turn left at the second stop sign which is Elk Ave. Continue up Elk to Third St. Turn right on Third St. Third St. deadends into Maroon. Park and walk across the foot bridge that crosses Coal Creek. After crossing the foot bridge turn left onto the poarch of 213 Third St. The house is one block from all the local shops, restaurants, and night clubs. To The Lifts: The free shuttle is one block away at the corner of Second and Elk. The shuttle runs every 12 minutes in the winter and drops you off right at the ski base area.

The Log Room King Suite is the cornerstone of the house. The log room originally was a cabin built over 100 years ago. It is made of 18 hand hewn logs. The bath features a jacuzzi tub.

The Professional Gourmet Kitchen's all stainless steel appliances include convection oven, convection microwave, warming drawer, 36 cooktop with griddle, 2 drawer dishwasher, refrigerator with filtered water and icemaker, granite counter tops, cherry cabinets.
