This multi use paved recreation trail is 3.4 km in length and can be accessed off Hwy. 60 at Fairyview Dr. MINNESING MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL: Hwy. 60 Algonquin Park. This trail is reserve mountain bikes and is found at km 23 in the Park. It is moderately difficult through hilly hardwood forests and has four loops ranging from 4.7 to 23.4 km in length. OLD RAILWAY BIKE TRAIL: Hwy. 60 Algonquin Park. Situated between Mew Lake a Rock Lake Campgrounds, this trail stretches 10 km along the abandoned bed of the historic Ottawa, Arnprior and Parry Sound Railway. The YONGE STREET TRAIL is a natural ground trail through mature forest. Yonge St. is in the west end of town, off Main St. W. Turn south (away from the lake) and when you meet Townline Road keep to our right. This is the Yonge St. Extension. At the end, there is a turnaround area where you can park. This trail can take about 30 minutes to walk. - Please remain on the trail as private lands border the trail. Level of Difficulty: Intermediate. For those interested in a challenging bike route; may we suggest the Yonge St. Trail to Chub Lake Road, North Mary Lake Road, Brunei Road, West Brown's Road, East Brown's Road, and then to Canal Road.. One can complete the loop by returning to Huntsville using the Fairy Vista Trail, which is on the other side of Hwy. 60 from Canal Road or by using the same backroads to either Brunei Road and into town or Yonge St. and to Main St. W. Estimated Cycling Time: 3 hours Level of Difficulty: intermediate. The AVERY PARK TRAIL is a short, cedar chin walking trail in the park at the lake side of Yonge St. It's pleasant short walk through the forest with pleasant areas to sit, relax and view the lake. The park also ias a swimming area, volleyball sand court, dock and boat launch ramp. The CANN LAKE NATURE TRAIL is part of the Muskoka Pioneer Village. The trail begins between Spence Inn and Maw House and is approximately 625 metres long. It travels through the Village as well as mixed forest of pine, silver birch and maple down to the marshland of Cann Lake and the floating boardwalk. Keep watch for raccoon, beaver, porcupine and Great Blue Herons. ALGONQUIN PROVINCIAL PARK: Algonquin has 16 day trails ranging from 0.8 km, km, as well as 3 Backpacking Trail Systems ranging from 6 to 88 km that permit you to camp one or more nights in real backcountry. All bookings are non-refundable within 30 days of scheduled rental. Laws of Ontario will apply to all rental contracts. Check in time is 4pm on the first day and check out is 11am sharp on the last day. Weekly rentals start on Monday 4pm and end the following Monday at 11am. Weekend rentals start Thursday at 4pm and end Monday at 11am. An extra day, if available, will be billed at 200.00 per 24 hour period in low season, and $275.00 in high season. Rates are subject to change and all rates will be confirmed at the time of booking. This is a Non-Smoking Unit. We will accept last minute bookings which are subject to availability.
