Bird Ridge Motel RV Park is the perfect jumping-off spot for outdoor enthusiasts and fishermen looking for economical accommodations on the Seward Highway. 30 minutes from Anchorage International Airport and 10 minutes from Girdwood and Alyeska Ski Resort. The Motel consists of nine newly remodeled, non-smoking rooms. You have the choice of rooms with a single queen sized bed or two full sized beds. Additional rollaway beds are available for a small fee. All rooms are equipped with private baths with a shower and vanity area. Summer Rate May 15 - Sept 15 Based on double occupancy ~ $89.00 + 12% bed tax Roll Away beds are available for an additional $20.00 per night. Named after the majestic mountain right next door to us, our business is conveniently located midway between Anchorage and Girdwood and offers an affordable way to see all Alaska's Turnagain Arm can offer. For outdoor enthusiasts, Bird Creek flows approximately 1,000 yards to the north of us. From late July to early September visitors come from all round to enjoy fishing for Silver and Red Salmon. The popular Bird Ridge hiking trail takes you to the mountain top and affords a spectacular view of the inlet and surrounding area. For those looking for a less strenuous hike or biking paved bike trails are located directly across the highway from our location. From our central location along the Seward Highway (listed as a National Scenic Highway) you can; Go Bird Watching on the boardwalk at.
