GROCERIES ARE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE SO I ADVISE YOU TO STOP THERE ON YOUR WAY OVER TO THE CONDO. HERE IS A LIST OF ITEMS YOU MIGHT CONSIDER TO MAKE YOUR STAY COMPLETE; COFFEE ALL FISH AND MEATS MILK CHEESE BREAD EGGS OJ POG RUM VODKA WINE CHIPS. CHECK IN IS AT 3PM AND CHECK OUT IS AT 11AM. IF YOU HAVE A LATE FLIGHT AND WANT TO STAY IN THE CONDO AFTER 11AM THEN YOU MUST ADD ANOTHER NIGHT TO YOUR STAY. THE CLEANING LADY ARRIVES AT 11AM AND THE NEXT RENTER ARRIVES AT 1PM. HERE ARE A FEW INSTRUCTIONS TO HELP KEEP OUR SPECIAL BIT OF PARADISE SAFE AND SOUND. PLEASE KEEP SCREEN DOORS CLOSED WHEN DOORS ARE OPEN. PULL GREEN SHADE DOWN ON LANAI AROUND 3PM UNTIL SUNSET TO KEEP HEAT OUT OF CONDO AND UTILITY COSTS DOWN. ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS MUST BE SHUT BEFORE THE AIR WILL COME ON. THERE IS A THERMOSTAT IN HALLWAY. THERE IS ONE BUTTON TO USE ON FAR LEFT. PUSH IT LEFT OVER TO COOL. IT WILL DO THE REST. WHEN YOU ARE TOO COLD OPEN THE DOORS AND MAKE SURE YOU TURN THE AIR OFF BECAUSE THE FAN WILL JUST STAY ON FOREVER IF YOU DON'T. IF YOU LEAVE FOR THE DAY PLEASE TURN OFF THE AIR. IT COOLS DOWN EXTREMELY FAST WHEN YOU TURN IT BACK ON. TURN FANS AND LIGHTS OFF BEFORE LEAVING FOR THE DAY AND AT NIGHT WHEN RETIRING. DO NOT HANG TOWELS OVER THE RAILING TO DRY ON THE LANAI. HANG THEM ON CHAIRS. PLEASE DO NOT PUT GLASS, CANS OR LIQUID IN TRASH COMPACTOR. THERE ARE RECYCLING MARKED CANS RIGHT OUTSIDE TO THE RIGHT BEHIND THE STONE WALL TO PUT BOTTLES AND CANS. EMPTY LINT SCREEN AFTER EVERY USE OF DRYER. MAKE SURE THE WATER LEVEL IS OVER JETS BEFORE TURNING ON JACUZZI. THE JACUZZI VENTS SHOULD BE OPEN WHEN JETS ARE ON. PLEASE WIPE OFF WHITE CABINETS IN KITCHEN IMMEDIATLEY IF SPILLED ON. RED WINE STAINS WON'T COME OUT. PLEASE USE THE SCWEEGY ON THE GUESTROOM SHOWER GLASS DOOR AFTER EVERY USE. DO NOT USE HARSH ABRASIVE CLEANERS ON ANY BRASS FIXTURES OR ON THE GUEST SHOWER DOOR. THERE IS A PROTECTIVE COATING ON THEM. DO NOT MOVE FURNITURE OR BEDS AROUND. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE AIR ON WHEN DEPARTING FOR THE DAY OR CHECKING OUT. TURN OFF LIGHTS, FANS AND AIR BEFORE CHECKING OUT. MAKE SURE TO TURN OFF GAS ON THE BBQ AFTER USE. USE STEEL BRUSH RIGHT AFTER USE ON GRILL TO CLEAN. BARB NEWTON IS AVAILLABLE DURING YOUR STAY FOR CLEANINGS IF YOU WISH. HER NUMBER IS 808-669-3194. A CLEANING IS INCLUDED EVERY 10 DAYS FOR LONG TERM RENTERS. SHE WILL AUTOMATICALLY COME AND DO FLOORS AND BATHS EVERY 10 DAYS. NO LAUNDRY OR KITCHEN WILL BE DONE. PLEASE REPORT ANY PROBLEMS OR ISSUES ON PAPER PAD ON COUNTER BY THE PHONE. ANY LEFT OVER FOOD ITEMS WILL BE DONATED AFTER YOUR STAY. TOYS, NOODLES, BOOGY BOARDS, BEACH MATS, BEACH TOWELS AND COOLER ARE PROVIDED IN 2ND BEDROOM CLOSET FOR YOUR USE. THERE IS A SHOWER AT THE BEACH PARK ACROSS THE STREET. PLEASE WASH OFF SAND BEFORE COMING BACK INTO THE CONDO. The Kaanapali Plantation is a real plantation with mature vegetation, plumeria trees, banana tree and a whole array of tropical plants and rolling lawns. There is a pool, tennis courts and shuffle board for your enjoyment. The plantation is situated on the 13th fairway of the Kaanapali golf course north. We are one block from one of the most beautiful beaches on Maui. You can lie on the beach or on the lawn under palm trees. There are full facilities at the beach park: bbq’s, covered cabanas with picnic tables and bathrooms. The beach has some of the best snorkeling on Maui. Our condo is with state-of-the- art kitchen and baths. There are two bedrooms and two baths with a large family room and lanai. There is an unobstructed view of the ocean and the spectacular Maui sunsets. You also can see the islands of Lanai and Molokai in the background. In the winter months you can see the whales breaching from the deck. Across the golf course is the famous Whaler's Village which has good restaurants and shopping. There is a beach path that stretches a mile and a half from the Hyatt Hotel to the Sheraton. One mile south of the plantation is the historic town of Lahaina. Come and enjoy our Aloha spirit!
