Buck Valley Ranch LLC is for singles, couples and groups. We also have special family packages. The small size and secluded setting make it possible to offer tailored outings to suit individual needs and desires. Breakfast Ride: Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a 75-90 minute horseback ride. Have
dinner later on in the evening. After
breakfast the next morning, enjoy another 75-90 minute ride. $150.00 per person. Three Day Special: Arrive at the ranch at your leisure and spend 3 days and two nights enjoying the countryside. The first day you will have
dinner. After
breakfast the second day we will saddle up for a 2 hour trail ride. Back at the ranch you are free to hike, read, nap, swim, get in the hot
tub, or relax - whatever your pleasure until
lunch and
dinner. On the third day, after
breakfast, enjoy another 1 ˝ hour trail ride. $250.00 per person. Non-Riding Stay: A stay at the ranch without horseback riding is available. This is ideal for bicyclists or for those who just want to enjoy some
quiet time in the country. You can take advantage of the
pool and hot
tub. One night's lodging,
dinner and
breakfast is included. $75.00 per person. Reservations are required for all guests. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, personal checks and travelers checks. Reservations can be made with credit cards.
In addition to daily trail rides in the clean mountain air, you can also enjoy our in-ground, outdoor
swimming pool, hot
tub,
volleyball, shuffleboard, cross-country
skiing (we do not provide
skis) and hiking. Within a very short drive from the ranch, you can find fishing (with state license), antique and craft
shops, the CO Canal Towpath, Rails to Trails,
tennis,
golf,
skiing, canoeing, bicycle rentals,
outlet malls, snow tubing, spas and
massages. We are near Bedford Village, Western Maryland Scenic Railroad and Whitetail
Ski Resort. Drive a little farther and you will find Lakemont and Bland’s Amusement Parks, Falling Waters and more

Breakfast. Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania. The
four bedrooms can accommodate eight people very comfortably, but if you have a larger group, it will hold up to twelve people. There is also a sofa bed in the
living room.
One bedroom has a double bed; a second a double bed and a double/single bunk bed; the third a double bed and a trundle bed; the fourth (on the first floor) has a double and a single bed. We strive to run
safe trips. All guests should realize the inherent dangers in horseback riding and other outdoor activities. They should be in good physical condition. Each guest will be required to sign an “Agreement to Participate and An Affirmation of Risk”. Guests under the age of eighteen need a parent’s signature on the agreement. Only parents and legal guardians can sign these forms. These forms can be mailed to you in advance of your stay with us. Obviously, persons of extra large size may not be able to be adequately accommodated. Please understand. Ranch life is casual. Jeans and boots will see you through a weekend of riding and other activities. Temperatures here are generally ten to twenty degrees cooler than in the Baltimore/Washington area. A light jacket is advisable for summer evenings. Sorry, but pets are not permitted. Alcohol is permitted. Smoking is permitted in certain outside areas. We are conveniently located near Interstate 70, about 2˝ hours east of Pittsburgh, 2 hours northwest of Baltimore - Washington D.C. - Northern Virginia, and 5 hours from New York City.
Lunch Ride - $65 per person-3 1/2 hour ride with a stop for a picnic
lunch. Must be at least 12 years of age for this ride only. Supper
Breakfast Ride - $150 per person- Includes an afternoon ride,
dinner, and lodging the first day;
