Vincenzo Parlato and Eva Balestrieri (husband and wife), in addition to being the owners and managers of Villa Eva, are two personalities who you are bound to recognise at first sight and get to know during your stay. They each have very individual characters, yet share the most important qualities: courtesy and hospitality. Youll recognise VINCENZO from a distance by his long white beard and a look that is both sparkling and gentle. An eclectic and unsophisticated man with a patriarchal air, he has built this kaleidoscopic place called Villa Eva piece by piece, using his unlimited skills: farmer, gardener, builder, joiner, painter, decorator, you name it. Vincenzo is also an excellent painter, indeed the foyer and many of the rooms are decorated with oil paintings and watercolours that bear his signature. EVA on the other hand is Villa Eva in person, she built this business with an untiring lavish commitment over many years, and her commitment is still strong today; Eva is more a Mamma figure to guests than just a manager, always ready to satisfy their every whim, always careful and diligent in ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay characterised by attentive and warm hospitality.

A stroll from the Villa Damecuta ruins. Damecuta is situated just a few minutes walk from Villa Eva, approximately 300 metres as the crow flies.
