CHANNEL TUNNEL 5 MINUTES. PORT OF DOVER 15 MINUTES. 4 POSTER
SUITE FOR THOSE SPECIAL OCCASIONS. MAJOR CREDIT CARDS AND EUROS ACCEPTED. Built in the 1890;s Seabrook House is a lovely Victorian property with many of its original features preserved and set in pretty
gardens. Renovated to a high standard, each
room has first class en-
suite facilities and all are decorated in keeping with the age of elegance. Seabrook House could best be described as a BB that thinks that it is a Hotel. It offers quality accommodation, 'No Smoking
Rooms' and lodgings for your B and B stay. Superior to any local Inn and with its good
parking better than any Motel or Travel Inn, suitable for 'short stays' or 'vacation by the sea' in the 'South East' of Kent and 'SE' England with views to France and Dungeness together with 'Dungeness Power Station'. Located in the 'Kent
Garden Coast' in the '
Garden of England' and close to the blue flag beach of Hythe with its sea fishing, wind surfing and sea sports. Whilst Seabrook House is not a Private Hotel it is a wonderful 'place to stay', being 'open all year' with its 'Silver Award' '4 Diamond' accommodation combined with a 'Welcome Host' award, you are assured of a warm and friendly welcome. Local to Seabrook House you will find many attractions from the 'Royal Military Canal' ( where you can enjoy 'walking' 'coarse fishing' and 'cycling' along the footpath ) to such outstanding attractions as the 'Romney Hythe Dymchurch Railway' ( the smallest public railway in the world) to local 'Oast Houses' or walking along the Saxon Shore Way, Stour Valley Walk or Elham Valley Way. If Castles are your forte then within a few minutes drive you will find 'Dover Castle' 'Bodium Castle' 'Leeds Castle' 'Hever Castle' 'Dover Castle' and 'Lympne Castle'. All this combined with the 'Fifth continent' of 'Romney Marsh' the 'olde world' attractions of Rye, the antique
shops of Sandgate and the appeal of the local wild life parks of 'Port Lympne' and 'Howletts' make this an ideal spot to spend a few days, or if the attractions of Canterbury with its wealth of history are to your liking then a 20 minute drive will get you there. For those interested in
gardens where better to stay than in a place surrounded by such well known
gardens such as 'Sissinghurst' RHS 'Gala
Gardens' 'Yalding Organic
Gardens' or 'Great Dixter' and whilst visiting these wonderful spectacles you travel through the Kent villages of Smarden, Chilham, Tenterden, Deal, or Folkestone with its picturesque old Harbour, 'Leas' and 'Lower Leas Coastal Park'. For those with a desire for a little 'retail therapy' Ashford with its 'designer
outlet' is only 10 minutes away, as is the 'Ashford International Station'. For those of you who are travelling through the area to cross the
Channel to France or Belgium the ferry Port of Dover is just a 15minute drive away (we are only 2 miles from the M20 so no time is added to your journey if you stay in our well preserved Victorian House with its pretty
gardens) with its access to the ferries operated by such well known names as P O Stena Lines, Seacat, Hoverspeed, or Seafrance from which you can watch the 'White Cliffs of Dover' as you cross 'La Manche' to your Continental destination. If crossing by '
Channel Tunnel', or do you call it 'Chunnel', 'Euro Tunnel' 'Euro Star' or 'Shuttle', is your preferred choice then Seabrook House is only a 5 minute drive from the entrance. For what ever the reason that you decide to stay with us at Seabrook House you are assured of a warm welcome, a comfortable stay and a memorable full 'English
Breakfast' to send you on your way, even if that is to enjoy the '
Golf Open Championship' at 'Sandwich' just 30 minutes easy drive away. Site last updated on. Any errors or comments about this site please email. CJA Consulting(UK)Ltd
