Historically significant, Spring Street Inn is an Empire Victorian Inn built in 1858 by one of the investors in the Fall River Steamship Company as his residence. Breakfast-Brunch is served between 8:30 and 10:30 am, either a la carte or
buffet, depending upon season. Daily menus of hot entrees (between three and five selections) may include your choice of omelets with a selection of fillings, fresh fruit crepes, Eggs Benedict, cinnamon-vanilla French toast, or eggs any style. Enjoy pitchers of fresh orange juice, platters of fresh fruit, an assortment of cereals, and baskets of muffins with your entree. In the afternoon, cookies and complimentary iced
tea, cider, and/or lemonade are served in the
guest living room and library.

Rates range from $119 to $299 per night for single or double occupancy (maximum double occupancy - no third person), depending upon season, day of week and accomodation chosen. There is a two-night minimum stay for weekends and a three-night minimum stay for holiday and Festival weekends. Most
rooms have a queen size bed.
One room has two twin beds. The Harborview
Suite has a king size bed in a large
bedroom, a
living room with
cable TV and a wall of windows overlooking the town and harbor, a large
bath with
Jacuzzi and
shower, and a private deck. A 50% deposit is required upon booking; VISA and MasterCard are accepted. Personal checks must be received at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. Balance is payable upon arrival. Reservations are confirmed by mail. All rates are subject to a total of 13% tax (7% RI Sales Tax 6% RI Hotel Tax). Please

office fee of $10 per

Follow 138 East over the Jamestown bridge to the Newport bridge; after crossing, take the Scenic Newport exit. Turn right at the end of the ramp. Go straight to the second set of lights, turn right on America's Cup Avenue. Continue through about 7 sets of lights; road forks, bear right onto Lower (south) Thames Street (along the waterfront).
