What no Car? Yes it really works. Explore North Norfolk without the car and help us keep the
beauty of the area for us and all generations that follow. North Norfolk is an Area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty (AONB) let us all try and keep it that way for as long as possible. Do without the car I hear people say, how would we get from A to B. Well here in our area it is with a bit of forward planning, common sense, and use of the brochures and Tourist Information Centers. Very good public transport, and facilities for walking, cycling and riding, with plenty of
safe areas,
Quiet Lanes,Coastal Paths, Pedders Way, Weavers way and many more. YES IT REALLY DOE'S WORK. North Norfolk Railway, linking Sheringham to Holt. Bus Service from Cromer to King'sLynn along the coast an experimental scheme to give priority to walker's, cyclists and horses. On a number of roads in our area. This is a taste of the ways to get about without a car. We had a young disabled couple visit us last year from London, they both had badly impaired sight, they intended staying with us for two days and ended up staying a whole week as they found it so easy to visit places all over our area by bus and train. What a great advert to show it works. Join us and help preserve this for the future (aonb)

If you are arriving from the Midlands or the North of England, make for Kings Lynn, then head for Cromer on the A148, when you get to Cromer look out for the railway station on your left, or the Police station on your right. Turn left into Beech Road, second left into Bernard Road and first right into Alfred Road and we are on the left hand side. If you are arriving from London, or the south, head for Norwich. Take the A140 heading for Cromer. On entering Cromer, turn left after the traffic lights into the one way system, at the end of this road you come to a junction, take the left hand lane and follow the signs for Holt. Then turn second right, at the mini roundabout into Beech Road, second left into Bernard Road, and first right into Alfred Road, and we are on the right hand side.
