Dateline NBC consumer correspondent Lea Thompson along with an NBC producer. Dateline NBC consumer correspondent Lea Thompson was in Lake Charles doing a story on home scams. The news magazine had received complaints from a local couple who says a local handy man had been hired but had failed to finish their home repair. After investigation, Dateline discovered that the handy man had more than 30 arrests in three states, many related to home repair work.
