Having traveled quite a bit ourselves, we know how nice it is to find an off-the-beaten-track place that is both friendly and unique. First and foremost, this is the atmosphere we want to provide for our guests. We feel that being surrounded by art and things made with loving hands is good for the soul—maybe instilling us all with creative and rejuvenating thoughts—so we've decorated our inn with colorful tapestries, baskets, masks, and folk art that we collected mostly during the years we worked in Latin America.. - Kathy Martin Versluys, Innkeepers. Superbly designed facility, environmentally sensitive—soapstone stoves and warm hospitality in the lush Blue Ridge. - Kent Peterson, President, American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. The true essence of travel is to come away with good personal feelings about the surroundings and the people. - G.R., Washington, DC. You make some mean bread. - T.C., Berkeley, CA.
