Loved the Perch, but the sunset was magnificent! - George and Nadine Smith Dundas, Ontario. As always, great hospitality and food. - James Elliot, Winnipeg, Manitoba. What a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing place to stay and dine. We love the food and people. - Chuck Debbie Schmidt Omsted, Michigan. Travelling home from Regina to Nova Scotia - this is a paradise, a home away from home. - Stephanie Marando. Super food, great
rooms, hospitality deluxe, a must stay. - Peter Rook, St. Louis, MO. Great
rooms, great food, great hospitality, come to Carolyn Beach if you're in Thessalon. Thanks Andrew Susan. - Chris Erickson, Crete, IL. A very enjoyable place to stay and ride snow machines from. The management went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met and taken care of. We definitely will be back. - Craig Wenke, Kalamazoo, MI. Our coach
trip to our over night stop was interesting, especially Carolyn Beach Motor Inn, as having stayed at a great many places during the last fourty seven years which I can class as high and very good, this Motel will up that rating to excellent for their service and food and would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone travelling in this area. - Patrick Griffiths, Stoney Creek, Ontario. Hi Andrew Susan: I woke up very early and I'm excited about driving up Highway 129 to Chapleau and visiting Aubrey Falls, so I am leaving earlier than I planned. I want to thank you both for a most wonderful visit, Pat Janet and I had the best reunion, and you guys are first class all the way. We will most certainly be back for another reunion, and I wish you the best in the ongoing success of the Carolyn Beach Motor Inn. - Mike Walsh, North Carolina, August 3rd 2006. When I checked in, I was tired and grumpy. The people at the front
desk were friendly and very helpful. When I entered the
room, it was very clean, comfortable looking and inviting, yet without being overly elaborate. I have spend the past month traveling all over North America. I've stayed in MANY motels. I have left a few letters of complaint at some. It seems to me that we are quick to criticize and slow to praise - but you folks obviously care about your
business and it shows! I look forward to a good day's drive home, well rested. Thank you! - Tony Kay, Sioux Lookout, Ontario, March 4 2007. We're pleased that this spot was recommended to us. We enjoyed watching the Mallard ducks on the water and the chirping sparrow below our window. Thank you! - Janis Vodden, Blyth, Ontario, May 2 2007. Paul and I and our dog, Gracie, stayed with you two nights (September 15 and 16, 2007) in
room 50. A few days prior to our
trip, our dog had a stroke, but we brought her along anyway. A week after we returned home, she died. I am telling you this because the last time Gracie really seemed at peace was at your place, lying in the grass just in front of our
room. This happy memory sticks with us. - Paul and Kristin Waterhouse Leawood, Kansas. We enjoyed our stay at your place. The food was affordable and very enjoyable. After dark we walked back to the point and in the moonlight it was so lovely. The
room was clean and the bed and
pillows comfy. The
shower was even a great surprise of pleasurable water pressure! I hope we will find our way back again. - Dave and Loralee Dankert, Bliss, Michigan. On behalf of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 182, Thessalon, We would like to THANK YOU and your staff for your courtesy towards the Legion members that stayed at Carolyn Beach on the weekend of September 15, 2007. We received nothing but excellent comments about their stay and the treatment they received. - Marcel Blanchette 1st Vice President, Branch 182, Canadian Legion, Thessalon. Just a note to let you folks know how much we enjoyed our stay at your motel and the
restaurant food was fantastic as well, but the cinnamon rolls are the BEST EVER. Keep up the good work! We had a wonderful time. We hope to stay at Carolyn Beach next year on our way to Minnesota. - Linda, Bob and Marion Woodbury, Winslow, Maine
