During WWII Miami Beach became a training center for nearly 500,00 U.S. Army Air Corps Cadets, including Clark Gables and Roberts Preston. This Photo shows several soldiers in front of Hoffman's Cafeteria. The inscription on back reads. This is our mess hall at the corner of Collins Avenue Espanola Way. After years housing various nightclubs including the Warsaw Ballroom, it is now beautifully restored. Far away from home and missing their wives and girlfriends.
