Arrival and Car Parking Facilities. Guest Accommodation and Public Areas. Additional Information. Introduction We are located on the corner of Salisbury Street and the main A65 into Skipton. The properties in the area are predominantly stone constructed Victorian houses. The Guest'Otel is only approximately 8 minutes' walk to the town centre. Here you will find local amenities, attractions, a traditional market 4 days a week, shops, restaurants and public houses. Skipton's bus and train stations are approximately 12 minutes' walk away. The nearest bus stop is about 50 metres away. There are 5 radar toilets in Skipton, located at the Town Hall, train station, bus station and both the High Street and Coach Street car parks. These car parks are Pay and Display''. We can be contacted by telephone on 01756 700640 or by email at. You can view pictures, read about more what our other guests thought about us. Paper copies of this website are available on request. Pre-Arrival We request that guests inform us of any special needs that they have when making an enquiry or a booking. Please advise us of your anticipated arrival time so that we can be available to welcome you and give assistance where necessary with your luggage. To ensure your accommodation is ready we recommend that guests check-in after 2pm, however it is possible to arrange earlier check-in times if required. There are several local taxi firms and we would be more than happy to arrange and pre-book them for you if required. Arrival and Car Parking Facilities There is free on-street parking available and there are also two car parking spaces down the side of the property. It is important if using these spaces that your car is parked as close to the property as possible to allow access to the backs of adjacent houses. We have a private car parking space at the rear of the property that could be made available by arrangement where special personal circumstances require. The road down the side of the property is cobbled and the path at the front is tarmac with a standard drop down kerb. There are two steps to the front door separated by a level flagged pathway. The two steps measure 12cm and 20cm. We also have a rear entrance with just one step into the Guest'Otel measuring 27cm. We have a front door bell to make us aware of our guests' arrival. The entrance/reception area has a double seater settee. Guest Accommodation and Public Areas We have 6 letting bedrooms. 4 of these are standard double rooms, one room has a king-size bed and the other bedroom is a family room consisting of a double and single bed. We also have a futon should an extra bed be required for a younger guest visiting us with a family. All our rooms offer: - Shower en-suites containing sink and toilet - Hospitality trays - Remote controlled TV with teletext - Table and chairs - Wardrobes and bedside cabinets - Blankets - Hairdryers - Background electric storage radiators and a portable electric heater - Alarm clocks. Other facilities are also available on request: - Bath sheets - Iron and ironing board - Trouser press. There are 2 side-hung consecutive fire doors leading to each bedroom giving an entrance width of 67cm. The bedrooms are located as follows: 1 ground floor 3 first floor 2 top floor attic rooms (1 double room, 1 family room). The stairs to the attic rooms have 14 steps and are fairly steep. The ground floor room is on the same level as the entrance/reception area and the breakfast room. This makes the room ideal for guests who find stairs a problem or require a walking stick or small zimmer frame. Although this is the case, this room is our smallest and is very restricted. The passage ways are also narrow in places which makes it unsuitable for guests totally dependent on a wheelchair. Additional Information - All areas in our Guest'Otel are totally non-smoking - We have fitted carpets in all our guest and public areas - We are happy to refrigerate medication and perishables - We are compliant with fire regulations and have fitted both audible and strobe effect lighting alarms in all the bedrooms to help guests with either hearing or sight difficulties - We do not allow pets - We are a BT Openzone wireless broadband hotspot. Should any of our guests need attention during their stay we have an internal bell located in the entrance/reception area. We constantly endeavour to improve our Guest'Otel for all our guests and any comments you have would be most welcome. If you require any further information relating to accessibility or services we provide, please do not hesitate to

For all major roads into Skipton, we recommend following the ring road to a large five-junction roundabout to avoid both the town centre traffic and the one way system. Situated on this roundabout there is a Travel Lodge and Burger King. Take the road marked Skipton North and also signs for Craven Swimming Pool which takes you in towards the town. You will pass the Auction Mart, Craven Swimming Pool and Aireville Park on your right. As you begin to drop down the hill into Skipton, go straight over the mini roundabout and past the Girls' High School on the left-hand side. Skipton Park Guest'Otel is on the corner of Salisbury Street which is the next road on your left. To approach this roundabout, we recommend for...
