Werner Rott is renowned for his high quality Austrian cuisine presented at his exclusive restaurant, The Old Vienna in Torquay. Subsequently Werner opened Creations Restaurant in Cockington Court, in addition to catering for numerous high profile private functions. In his spare time Werner likes to create sculptures and has appeared in TV Shows including the BBC's Generation Game Tom Kendrick worked as head waiter at the Old Vienna Restaurant from 1988 - 1990. Since then Tom has worked, maitre-de'd and managed restaurants from Vancouver, Canada to Naples, Florida, Nantucket Island, M.A. More recently, Tom has been responsible for front of house operations at his brother's restaurant Kendrick's in Dartmouth. Werner Tom have now joined forces as business partners Landlords of the Fortescue Arms to create a culinary experience that's second to none.

We are located about 4 miles from Kingsbridge off the Kingsbridge to Totnes road. From Totnes, head towards Kingsbridge on the A381 stay on this road for approximately 8 miles. You will pass through two villages called Harbertonford and Halwell respectively. Shortly after Halwell you'll see a sign for East Allington on the left. Follow this lane and look out for another sign to the village, about the second on the right. In a few hundred yards turn right again where indicated and follow this lane into the village.
