PEOPLE AT THE ANT STREET INN. Tommy and Pam Traylor began renovation on this large mercantile building in 1991 and opened the inn in 1995. They have operated it ever since and are here daily except when they on an antiques buying trip to supply Tommy's antique auction business with new inventory. Daughter Lauren Card, a licensed auctioneer comes home from Loyola in New Orleans to auction. Daughter Jennifer Traylor is in Charlotte; son, Michael Traylor is in Boston, and daughter, Danielle Traylor is in Washington, D.C. Cindy Lamensky, manager, and daughter, Chelsy have both been at the inn for several years. Cindy manages the office, supervises our staff, helps guests and really knows the Brenham area. Chelsy helps with the inn when she is not busy putting together the auctions with Tommy or going to college. Beverly Hill Smith, resident artist, lives in the inn. By day, Beverly is a free-lance artist who work s on commissioned projects including murals, scenic stage set designs, equestrian paintings, and tromp L'oeil paintings.
