Welcome to the Gray Goose, Where your Best Friend, Dog or Cat, is always welcome. We ask that your Dog or Cat is current with his or her inoculations, and is on annual flea and tick control. Do not allow your pet on furniture: sofas, chairs, beds. Keeping your best friend on a leash will keep your pet safe and friendly to other guests. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the dining room due to local Health Department codes. When walking your best friend outdoors, you only have to pick-up when on paved areas. Be sure to wipe your pets feet before going to your room. Please do not leave your best friend alone in your room for any extended period of time. He or she may get lonely and cry, thereby, disturbing other guests. We Sincerely wish you and your best friend a Great Stay. Any questions? Please dont hesitate to ask. There is a $25 one night charge for each pet (Dog or Cat). You are responsible for any damage to carpeting, bed linens including mattress, pillows, upholstered furniture. You are also responsible for any aggressive action by your pet to other guests or guests pets. I thoroughly understand the above pet policy and understand my responsibility for any extra charges incurred. Can I Bring My Dog A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a Midwest town he planned to visit on his vacation. He wrote: I would very much like to bring my dog with me. He is well-groomed and very well behaved. Would you be willing to permit me to keep him in my room with me at night??? An immediate reply came from the hotel owner, who wrote: I've been operating this hotel for many years. In all that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, silverware or pictures off the walls. I've never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly. And I've never had a dog run out on a hotel bill. Yes, indeed, your dog is welcome at my hotel. And, if your dog will vouch for you, you're welcome to stay here, too..
