The Abaco Inn Clubhouse, a 50's-style lodge recently redecorated with vibrant Bahamian decor, houses our Restaurant, Bar Lounge, Main Office and Gift Shop. The Clubhouse is perched at the crest of a sandy ridge that allows you to admire the view of the Atlantic Ocean or the lovely Sea of Abaco. The Abaco Inn Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main dining room and out on the porch. The Abaco Inn Bar Lounge is a lively meeting place for guests to recap the adventures of the day, be they bone or deep sea fishing, island hopping, golfing or exploring the 17th century villages of Hope Town. It is also one of the best locations on the island to watch the sunset over the Sea of Abaco. Each night promises a unique display of fantastic colors bouncing off the sparkle of White Sound Harbour until the sun finally sets. It's enough of an event that the Abaco Inn Bar boasts live entertainment during and after the sunset at least once a week. The Abaco Inn also has the Cabana Bar, an open air bar with great views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Sea of Abaco. The main bar is open all day from lunchtime until closing. There are plenty of activities available, many free of charge. Take a dip in Abaco InnOs swimming pool or lounge around in the sun with the crashing waves at your feet. The especially adventurous spirits can even try out their surfing skills on the ocean waves! Our island offers seven miles of beautiful coastline to explore. Enjoy the two-mile bike ride into town as you leisurely take in sights of the island. We have several bikes for our guests to use free of charge on a first-come/first-served basis, or we can help you rent bikes from town. The Sea of Abaco offers an ideal spot for kayaking and provides a great view of the island from the water. The sea is smooth and clear, making it easy to spot conchs, starfish and other local marine life! Explore nearby islands or grab a beer at Cracker POs. We offer both single and double Hobie kayaks. Our waters offer one of the best breaks in all of Abaco. Surf competitions are held regularly in front of the Abaco Inn, and other great breaks are within walking distance. Surfboards are available for rent in town. Sailing on the Sea of Abaco is very popular. The calm but fluent winds allow for all levels of sailors to have a great sailing experience. And our guests are fortunate; the area directly in front of Abaco Inn, White Sound, is the perfect starting place for any sailing adventure! Boating and Island Hopping. Not only do boats make for great transportation around the island, but your boat deck also provides fantastic snorkeling (gear is available at the Abaco Inn Clubhouse), fishing and swimming opportunities! Visit other islands or picnic on a beautiful deserted beach. Plenty of boat rentals are available in various sizes to accommodate your needs.
