Tour 1: Off Road Into The Backcountry 1) The
tour with a little bit of everything. There are various routes to choose on a Salmon River canyon
tour; to ghost towns, gold mines, hot springs, water falls, scenic streams, Indian paintings, fishing, hiking history. Abundant wildlife include Rocky Mountain big horn sheep, mountain goats, elk and a large variety of other wildlife. This is a photographers gold mine. 4 person minimum. 2) This is an Idaho-Montana
tour to an old town with lots of history, scenic
beauty, lakes, streams, hiking, and a beaver pond. Enjoy the continental divide and the Big Hole in Montana. Visit the old western town of Wisdom, Montana, and a western gallery. From there, visit the Trail of Tears where Cheif Joseph and the Nez Perce battled, and then back over Lost Trail Pass. 4 person minimum. Backcountry
Tours are 100 miles each. Other Backcountry
Tour packages are available to visit scenic lookouts, hot springs, Lewis and Clark trail, the jagged peaks of the Continental Divide, and much more. All are 4 person minimum
tours.
Tour 2: Float
Trips on the Salmon River. 20 miles through the Salmon River Canyon. Through rapids like Pine Creek where Lewis Clark lost all they had, and had to turn back to find another route. Wildlife, Indian paintings, and much more - 2 person minimum.
Tour 3: Fishing Streams Lakes. Lakes, streams, and rivers. This is an all day
tour in various parts of our country. Includes three lakes, a dozen streams, and two rivers. Fly fishing also available. Also, fish the Continental Divide! 4 person minimum. Hike through Salmon River country across the jagged peaks of the Continental Divide. Enjoy wonderful scenery wildlife while feeling like Lewis Clark. 2 person minimum.
Tour 5: Bear or Cougar Viewing
Tours. Head off into the high country and view a cougar or bear in their natural habitat. Great photo experience. 2 person minimum.
Tour 6: Horseback Into The High Country Lewis Clark Trail Take a ten mile ride into the high country to a glacier lake for
lunch and fishing on the Continental Divide. Very scenic. 2 person minimum.
Tour 7: Wolf Viewing. Board the bus or 4x4 for a thirty mile guided
tour through part of the Salmon River canyon to Clear Creek. Your guide will take you on a hike for a few hours into wolf country. Enjoy
lunch on the trail, and don't forget to bring a camera for this once in a lifetime experience! 4 person minimum.
Tour 8: Lewis Clark Off Road Backcountry Step back into history and follow the route Lewis Clark used during their epic journey. Lemhi county is the birthplace of Sacajawea and you can see where she was born and reunited with her brother.
Tour 9: Off-Road Bird Watching
Tour See the Rocky Mountain birds in their own habitat. Be sure to bring your camera.
Tour 10: Eco-Off Road Fire Regenerative
Tour Enjoy a
tour through the world famous Idaho summer of 2000 fire area and learn about how the eco system regenerates.
Tour 11: Steelhead Trout Fishing on the Salmon River This
tour you use a drift boat and float for twenty miles on the beautiful Salmon River with a guide. Fall or Spring. 2 person minimum.
Tour 12:
Jet Boat
Trips on the Salmon River. Take a 50 mile
tour of the Salmon River canyon to the end of the road at Corn Creek. Then you board a
jet boat and venture 25 to 30 miles into the roadless Salmon River wilderness canyon. Enjoy a scenic and exciting ride into the Frank Church Wilderness area, which is 800 feet deeper than the Grand Canyon! After that, its back to the van and home. 4 person minimum.
Tour 13: Deer Elk Antler Hunting
Tour Enjoy a no-trail
tour into the high country where the Deer Elk roam. (The Elk and Deer lose their antlers in the spring, hopefully for you to recover and take back as a once in a lifetime souvenir.
Tour 14: Back Country Plane Flights Enjoy scenic flights over the Continental Divide and the Frank Church Wilderness area. Be sure to bring your camera.
Tour 15: Ice Fishing on Lakes Ice fish on Cummings Lake, 100 Acre Wood Pond, Williams Lake, and others. 4 person minimum.
Tour 16:
Ski Packages Lost Trail
Ski Resort is only 19 miles from our resort at the top of the Continental Divide on the Idaho-Montana border. 8,000 foot elevation with 300 inches of annual snowfall. This is one of the oldest
ski areas in the U.S. 2 person minimum.
Tour 17: Mountain
Bike Tours and Rentals Ride various trails and roads through the countryside and along the Continental Divide. All day
tour with a guide is available.
Bike helmet included, and car racks are available. 4 person minimum.
Tour 18: Hunting Take a guided hunt for elk and deer in the backcountry. Use 4x4's or horseback. This
tour includes a guide. Prepare the kill for the meat packer, and the head for taxidermy. Hunt with your choice of bow or rifle. Call for rates.

Tour Rates Only (no package). We recommend advance reservations and will hold your
room with a MasterCard or Visa. Cancellation notice is required seven days prior to arrival date or you are obligated for full charge of reservation. Check-in after 4:00 p.m. *unless special arrangements have been made.
Room rates are based on double occupancy - add an additional $10.00 for extras. Pets allowed by special arrangement only. We are a
non-smoking facility. Smoking is permitted outside only. In the main house are two warm and comfortable
rooms that share a common
bathroom. The Purl
Room (named after an old town site that the lodge is built on) has a double four poster bed. The Country Carribean
Room has a queen size bed. cost: $55.00 In our outside wing are
two suites with private
baths ($80.00), and two spectacular with
Jacuzzi tubs. Two beds - $100.

air conditioning,
TV/VCR, and decks with views of the pond and surrounding mountains. Rates include a full

We are 25 miles north of the western town of on highway 93. We are also south on Hwy93, about an hour's drive from. This paved road is a scenic byway following the Salmon River and the Lewis and Clark Trail. The closest

This three story log home was build by Jon as a hobby during the last 17 years while employed in the industrial construction field. He cut the logs and constructed the home without blueprints, and so far the resort is at 11,000 square feet. In 1996 it was decided that the home would welcome travelers and guests. Interior details are an eclectic blend of furnishings and collectibles featuring local arts and crafts from many of the talented artists in the area. The Great
Room is the place to be, whether sharing life's adventures in front of the crackling fireplace, reading a great novel, or simply gazing out at the abundant wildlife and picturesque mountains. Our mountains are a year-round grazing range for deer and elk. The view from the
dining room takes in the trout pond, aspen covered wood, and a variety of colorful birds cavorting at the feeders. Enjoy an evening meal in our gourmet
restaurant. The tantalizing aromas will tickle your taste buds. Our in-house chef prepares unique menus from the freshest of available ingredients. Everything is prepared to order. Beer and wine are available. Our
restaurant books many special events - birthdays,
weddings,
