CONFERENCE/MEETING FACILITIES. All overnight guests associated with the meeting or conference qualify for our corporate rates for guest rooms. The Historic Statesboro Inn's Conference Center is eager to make your business function pleasant as well as productive. Statesboro has proven to be a well suited focal point for regions covering Southeast Georgia (just a three-hour drive from Atlanta, Columbia, Charleston or Jacksonville). We will provide the support you will need to make your business here a success. We have now installed wireless internet in all rooms and common areas. Our experience is in management meetings, training seminars, regional and national meetings, and retreats. Newly expanded, the facility combines modern convenience with old southern charm. A generous helping of French doors, Greek columns, ceiling fans and gardens makes an inspiring atmosphere and pleasant escape from the traditional hotel settings. We will be happy to arrange the space to meet the needs of your individual group. In addition, there are other areas of the inn or on the beautifully landscaped grounds that can be utilized for more casual gatherings and discussions. The property has two beautifully restored Victorian houses and boasts a relaxed home-like ambiance with 17 graciously decorated guest rooms. Architectural detail and exquisite craftsmanship are found throughout the historically registered Inn. But, traditional doesn't mean exemption from some modern conveniences. Standard amenities include private bath, desk, in room telephone, wireless internet, voice mail, cable television, coffee pot, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and same day laundry service. Some rooms have fireplaces, jetted tubs or private porches. (Rooms for additional guests can be reserved at an adjacent property.). Each morning our staff serves a freshly prepared breakfast in one of our quaint and cozy dining rooms complete with fireplaces in the cooler months. We will provide mid-morning and mid-afternoon refreshment breaks and are ready to plan other gourmet meals that may be served in any of the dinning rooms or even a picnic. Our flexibility is endless. End the day with a cocktail from our onsite English-style pub, relax on one of our wide porches or muse by one of our tranquil ponds. Promote ongoing discussion in a more relaxed setting. We will be happy to arrange a visit to local attractions such as the Botanical Garden, the Lamar Q. Ball, Jr. Raptor Center and the Georgia Southern Museum, or perhaps a you?d enjoy a round of golf at one of our public courses or a trip to the spa.. BUFFETS AND BANQUETS. The entrees listed below are those most often selected for a dinner of this type. We will be happy, however to prepare an entree of your choice. Please feel free to call us for details. All prices include: the room and table clothes with overlays. All dinners include a salad, home baked breads, iced tea and coffee. For groups of 30 or more, we ask that only one entree be selected for the entire group. With mixed greens and garnishes with a choice of either raspberry vinaigrette, ranch or Parmesan peppercorn dressing. (one dressing for all guests). With shredded Parmesan cheese and gourmet croutons ($1.00 extra). Baby spring greens garnished with fresh berries and mandarin oranges. Topped with candied pecans. A tender 8 oz. filet complemented with either an herbed butter or a mushroom sauce, garlic mashed potato and seasonal vegetable. *Market Price Prime Rib. Queen cut of prime rib served with au jus gravy or horseradish cream sauce, potatoes and seasonal vegetable. Slow-roasted prime beef topped with a rich brown gravy, whipped potato and seasonal vegetables. A lightly breaded chicken breast sauted with mushrooms, sauced with a Marsala demi-glace and accompanied by pan-browned potatoes and seasonal vegetable. $16.50 Rock Cornish Hen. Half a game hen stuffed with a flavored stuffing andtopped with a season glaze. Served with a blended rice and a mixed vegetable. Oven roasted turkey breast a top an herbed stuffing basted with a giblet gravy and accompanied by whipped potatoes and green beans almandine. $15.00 Chicken En Croute. A plump breast topped with a either blueberry or peach cream cheese, wrapped in puff pastry and baked. Served with our blended rice and asparagus. Scallops and shrimp baked in a rich cheese sauce and served over rice. Accompanied by mixed seasonal vegetables. Slices of cider-glazed ham topped with a rum raisin sauce and served with candied yams and vegetable medley. Either strawberry or chocolate chip ice cream served with a meringue cookie. $4.00. A cream cheese filling is sandwiched between a rich and dense chocolate cake and a chocolate fudge glaze.
