Some excerpts from the website of The Bungalows that might be useful
It is not often one hears words such as 'tranquility', 'seclusion' or 'intimate' associated with many things in Cabo San Lucas... Nevertheless, amid hotels and nightclubs, there lies an enclave that not only epitomizes such descriptions, but in many respects, surpasses them... The Bungalows Breakfast Inn, just what the doctor ordered... -BAJA LIFE MAGAZINE, Resort Watch featured inn. There are a lot of 5 star or better hotels in Cabo, but have you ever been to a six star bed and breakfast?. We entered a tropical paradise in miniature where everything is in harmony from the gracious hosts, Mark and Tisha to the cheerful well finished rooms that mildly defy classification. Lots of wood, pictures and knick knacks,... the rooms are immediately welcoming and comfortable. I felt like it was my room and I should be there.. WOW! What a breakfast -gourmet does not quite explain it and the word delicious lacks just a bit in describing the real experience; we had freshly ground coffee and fresh fruit and cold fresh orange juice followed by toast and tortillas to accompany mushroom omeletes that were simply beyond compare - the palate could not ask for more and it was all prepared by chef Estella, who absolutely makes mornings the greatest way to start eating for the day the food was so consistently good that it gave new meaning to waking up in each day.. If you deserve to be spoiled at all then you deserve to go to The Bungalows in Cabo - William Trent, Travel Writer, Baja Sun Newspaper. Talk about a laid back private oasis... but all of the inn's lures, breakfast in an open-air dining hut gets top-billing...mouthwatering daily specials... arguably the best breakfast in town! - AMERICAN AIRLINES MAGAZINE, Get Cozy in Baja Exclusively featuring the Bungalows Breakfast Inn. I just wanted to say the biggest THANK YOU to everyone for making our family reunion a perfect experience. Steve and Estela went way above and beyond to make every single one of us feel special, comfortable and at home. What a thoroughly relaxing, romantic and incredibly beautiful hideaway... we felt as if we were on our honeymoon (well - except for the 24 oher people with us!) I will never forget the incredible hospitality and kindness shown to my family. And how I miss those breakfasts! Thank you again for making our family reunion a part of yours - Roger and Sally Santos, Family Reunion. The personal service we received from Steve and Estela was incredible. Your staff sure know how to make people feel at home in a foreign country. I've never been treated like that before in any establishment. Even my aunt and uncle that have the timeshare at the Pueblo Bonito were jealous of our situation -- they couldn't believe the service you all provided. We were never lacking for anything, including someone to arrange our parasailing, order our pizza and pick up our empty boxes. P.S. I'm the hero of the family right now, as I found your place on the internet! - Angela Gilbert, Family Reunion. As part of the Whitaker family Reunion that invaded Cabo San Lucas and The Bungalows, I NEEDED to let you know what a wonderful, fantastic time we had... the neatest place to stay.. found it on the internet and we took a chance. Never could we have imagined how wonderful it was. Steve took care of us from the very beginning. The breakfasts every morning were out of this world. Not many people would believe that 27 of us from all over the United States and Hawaii got together for a family reunion on a foreign country and had the best times of our lives. We owe a lot of that to you and your staff. - Lisa L. Cummings, Family Reunion. We were treated to a delightful combination of traditional Mexican and European breakfast fare served on a covered brick patio adjacent to the pool and lush tropical planted courtyard.. Our hosts, Mark and Tisha Hendricks, made our experience a memorable visit. The gracious hospitality and old Mexican charm at such reasonable cost make The Bungalows a real bargain - Norman Florence, San Francisco Examiner. We had a wonderful time. The room was beautiful, clean, but best of all was the staff --- oh and don't forget the complimentary breakfast. On our next trip to Cabo there is no doubt that The Bungalows is the place to be, where I know we will once again enjoy the cozy, relaxing accommodations. It's Great! - Mr. Mrs. Robin Pheil, Honeymoon Suite. Like a little bit of Heaven- beautiful to the eyes and ears. Wonderful people who truly understand the meaning of host. And the food-wonderful. I will return-and do get a massage from Steve. - Ann Powers, Washington D.C. What a wonderful stay, tucked in a little valley of cool delight with every amenity thoughtfully provided. Thanks to Estela for her gracious hospitality and wonderful juices. I won't forget her or this place! - Nancy East Salem, North Carolina....a welcoming retreat, an inviting oasis, nestled among verdant palms with a bouganvillea-covered lattice and lush foliage... upon entering the grounds, you are immediately enveloped by the rustic ambience of the gurgling hand-carved fountain, palapa roofs and Spanish colonial masonry... a sabbatical to a slower, quieter space, a quiet time reminiscient of yesteryear, when the pace of Cabo San Lucas was dictated by panga fishermen returning from the sea and the air was full of the aroma of fresh tortillas wafting from local grills... -BAJA LIFE MAGAZINE, Resort Watch featured inn:The Bungalows Breakfast Inn, Just What the Doctor Ordered. What an OASIS! The beautiful room, delicious breakfast, fabulous massage! -Denise Robinson, Prescott, AZ. Every one of our group of 20 has been graciously received and accommodated. All is graciously done and highly reccommended! -Kate O'Brien, Denver,CO. An oasis of artistic delights. Color, peace, and hospitality abounds..who could ask for more? -Patricia May, Jerome, AZ. I think this has been the best 'hotel' I've ever stayed in. The inside of the rooms are beautifully decorated with objects I have never seen before. Thank you very much for letting me experience things I would not usually experience in the U.S. -David Bussone. We had such a wonderful time at the bungalows! Buddy and I just loved your accommodations. The quiet, secluded atmosphere upon entering the gate was like stepping back in time, into a hacienda, so picturesque and serene! The staff was so friendly, the breakfasts superb, the walk downtown not strenuous and the weather was perfect! We enjoyed speaking to Steve on different occasions, he was very helpful in advising us on the city and restaurants, and made us feel like part of the family! I wish we were there this minute, in our own suite, looking out on the patio and pool, or enjoying that wonderful French toast by the fountain! The trip was an adventure we will long remember, and The Bungalows, simply unforgettable! -Susan and Buddy Fitz, Vacaville, CA. This is one of the most wonderful experiences we have had. The Bungalows are not only well managed, but Steve and Estela go 'above and beyond' to ensure your stay is the best. We will recommend The Bungalows to all our friends. We could not have stayed at a more enjoyable place in Cabo San Lucas. Trust Steve on restaurant selections, and both he and Estela for the greatest breakfast in Mexico!! -Luke and Susie Grant, Plano, TX. Staying off the beach and on an unpaved street will sound to many like a major sacrifice, but a peek inside The Bungalows will quickly change that perception. Within The Bungalows inner court, peace and quiet reigns. You will find yourself unaware of what is going on outside the walls... breakfast rivals the best restaurants in town... -LOS CABOS Magazine, featured article The Hotels of Los Cabos. Thank...
