It's a very cosy hotel, in our size, 22 rooms, 50 customers who are or become friends. (that allows us to discuss with them, every evening, about weather, pistes, ski...) (it's, we admit it, our greatest pleasure!!!). 2 stars but with the real comfort of a 3 stars individual safe, hair-dryer, cabled television, ski box with built-in shoe-dryer...). Ideally located on the edge of the pistes, with a direct access, in the basement, on the Val thorens and 3 Vallees areas. Facing full South, with a magnificent sight on cime Caron and the massifs. And especially, the calm, at 5 minutes, by foot, from the resort centre. La Marmotte it's also a particular atmosphere. On saturdays, a welcome's cocktail, gives the opportunity to introduce us to you, as well our team; But it also allows to meet you among former and new customers, between nationalities, table neighbours, and become quickly acquainted On tuesdays evening, raclette or cheese fondue party On friday evening, hot stone or burgundy fondue party. Very often great and lasting friendships shall form during the week. Christmas and New year's Eve. For these evenings, it is a tradition in hotel La Marmotte, each year, we always made 2 unforgettable Christmas and New year'Eve dinners. Gala menu, evening dress, cocktails card in the lounge bar restaurant room and tables specialy decorated everything to spend a good end of year. 22 pleasant bedrooms from 2 to 4 beds with the comfort of a 3 stars hotel. 15 are south facing and 7 north facing. All with bath, toilets in the bathroom, hair dryer, individual digit code safe, satelitte colour T.v (5 languages) direct dialphone, Internet plug for computer. On request, when you reserve, we shall be able to put in a real large bed with 1.80 meter size in each room. (except 3 rooms for 3 pers. already fitted with 1 bed 1m40 and 1 bed 0.90m size). For each room, you have a ski box,on the ground floor, (direct acces to the slopes), with built-in and blowing shoe dryer. Click on pictures for enlarge. The breakfast is not served in bedrooms, but in the restaurant, from 08.00 to 09.30 am, with a large english breakfast buffet, where you will find all the necessary calories for a great ski day.
In a rustic setting, facing the slopes, with a magnificent view on the mountains. Our famous chef, Mr J.L Villerez, will make you enjoy a gastronomic, traditional and carefully presented cuisine, served by full of attention waiters. Dinner means also holidays! served between 07.30 and 09.30 pm. After a day of ski, we are hungry! that's why we propose you: Soup (creams, fresh vegetables veloutes, soups..) the soup tureen is on your table for those who like it. Cold or warm starter. Main dish (choice between meat or fish, served with 2 types of vegetables). The desserts and pastries trolley or the dessert of the day (all home-made, everyday). But on Tuesdays' Fridays' evening. There is once again a festive air in la Marmotte. On Tuesdays' evening, there is a regional savoie dinner with the choice between raclette or cheese Fondue, both served with assorted pork butcheries. (for those who don't like cheese, we can always prepare some meat or fish). On Fridays' evening, you get a meat dinner, without any limit, with the choice between a pierrade (you grill yourself your meat on a warm stone) or a meat fondue, both served with various sauces and French fries! To enjoy your skiing day The most important is to take a good breakfast. The buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant from 08.00 to 09.30 am. Beside the classic breakfast, you will find a large choice of cereals, ham, cheese, cakes, dry fruits, and you will have the possibility to cook yourself some eggs, as you like them, as well pancakes with honey or maple sirup.
