Welcome on the Varlet Farm Website where we hope to tell you something of ourselves and to give details of the Bed and Breakfast accommodation we now offer in our family farmhouse on the old Passchendaele battlefield. We are the Cardoen-Descamps family, my name is Charlotte and my husband is called Dirk. We have four children: Barbara, the eldest, is 25 , Renaat, the eldest boy, is 21 , Künegonde is 17, and the youngest is Florian, who is 14. Like most farmers we have a dog called Simba and last but not least we have some cats. Our farm was given the name "Varlet Farm" by British soldiers during WW1 and appears as such on original trenchmaps.
