Welcome to A Bed in Heaven! Our new home was finished in June 2008. After one year of building we are glad to be prepared to accommodate our guests again. The house is located in Bearberry and is built on a hill side nearly in the centre of our 156 acres of mostly treed land with a beautifull view into the Bearberry Valley as well as to the hills of the West Country. You will stay away from the hussle & bussle of life in the City while watching an abundance of wildlife right in front of your suite. Our home is a non-smoking facility and adult oriented. Your hosts are Ingrid and Mike. One of Ingrid's hobbies is dog sledding. A few years ago we got Thumper and Lucky. They both were trained sled dogs and it made it easier for Ingrid to fulfill her dream to be a musher. After 6 years in Canada she finally got her own small team of sled dogs. Maybe the dogs and Ingrid are the very few people who are happy when it snows! Michael likes to read books but mostly he is working outside. On a farm there is always something to do and the days are often too short.
