Greetings! We are the two artists responsible for what you are seeing on these pages of our website. The two of us moved to Nova Scotia from Ontario in 1997, settling for eight years in Mahone Bay, where we renovated an historical property and established a small business called The Maritime Painted Saltbox Heritage Reproduction Furniture and Fine Art Gallery. We designed and built heritage reproduction furniture and opened a gallery in the house to exhibit our furniture, contemporary fine art and folk art. It made for a unique gallery experience, as we were also a bed and breakfast. Over the years several thousand folks passed through our house on historical house tours, gallery showings, garden tours, and as guests of our bed and breakfast.
