You can come to Thassos by boat from the port of Kavala. There are direct flights to Kavala or via Thessaloniki (in this case the trip can be continued either by coach or taxi). Finally, there are transit flights from Athens to Kavala. There are direct flights to Kavala from many destinations in Europe. From the airport of Kavala (Chrysoupoli) you can reach the port of Keramoti by taxi (10 kms). From there, there are regular ferry boat connections to the island of Thassos (it takes about 40 min for the journey).
