Carbon Offsetting: Travel: We have done the maths and, in addition to our ongoing programme of tree planting, we will also plant a tree for every person who stays at The Lodge in order to off set the carbon footprint created by the air flight. Chose from: Nutmeg, Cocoa, Cinnamon, Allspice, Neem, Frangipani or White Cedar. At The Lodge: Our ongoing programme of tree planting also supplies our kitchen with fruit and spices. In addition we plant local trees to maintain the ecological balance of flora and fauna, and a variety of shrubs and palms which we will be using for creating bio-fuel.
