In the heart of the Bologna Hills, in green Val di Zena (Zena river valley) at km 12 of Provincial Road 36, there is an old country house built in stones and bricks and recently restored to its original shape. The place is called Trabucco and is at only 15 minutes by car from the Tangenziale (the Outer Ring connecting Bologna to the main Italian motorways). The house is surrounded by a big park rich in ornamental plants cultivated directly by the owner, with two tiny ponds full of aquatic plants, water lilies and red fish.
