he Paggeria Medicea, a 4 star hotel, constructed in the same period as was the villa, (the total harmony of the building when compared to the Medici residence demonstrates this), was, at one time, to separate the court's residence from that of the servants and pages. Nowadays it has 37 rooms, all with bathrooms and modern comforts, while respecting the original construction. The fireplaces have been maintained, as have been the historical stone wash-basins, the hanging, wood-beamed roofing and terracotta flooring.
