Umbria Guest House is a cosy bed and breakfast in Castel Rigone - an ancient village, located above Lake Trasimeno a short drive from Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Montepulciano and Cortona and a short drive from the A1 - 'Autostrada del Sole'. Florence, San Gemignano and Siena are less than two hours away by car to the north and Todi, Orvieto and Rome are a similar distance to the south. This lovely bed and breakfast occupies a a beautiful wooden mountain lodge on the Umbria Tuscany border, overlooking Lake Trasimeno. The house is structured on 3 levels with the study/apartment on the same level as the garden. On the first floor there is the dining room/lounge which leads out onto a large terrace organized for dining al fresco during the summer months. The house is warm and welcoming in winter and stays cool in summer shaded by the large oaks in the front garden...
