The house Husslage BB is located in a monumental wooden merchant-house, in the center of the picturesque village Broek in Waterland. The house on the adress Laan 22-28 is erected in 1775, as is shown at the facade of the house. Some parts of the house exists even from the 17th century. In the year of 1980 the monument has been thouroughly renovated in the ancient style, by which among other things the facade is restored in its full glory. As a result of the renovation the original wall-paintings and ceiling-decorations are restored where ever as possible.
