The Amsterdam Resort is at the Indian Ocean coast in Phangnga province in Southern Thailand, not to be confused with the island of Koh Phangaan close to Koh Samui. Bang Niang Beach is 70 KM north of the bridge which connects the island of Phuket with the mainland, 3 KM north of better known Khao Lak, 30 KM south of Takua Pa and 200 KM south of Ranong.
